Scooter, the oldest living cat from Texas, has died at age 30.

Recently, I wrote about an adorable cat named Scooter, who had recently been given the title of "Oldest Living Cat." I regret to inform you that Scooter has passed away. He was 30 years old.

Scooter turned 30 on March 26. His owner, Gail Floyd, reports that Scooter died on April 8, which was around the time Guiness had conferred its title.
If you're wondering what 30 years old equates to in human years, it is 136 years.

While Scooter lived a very long life, he won't go down in history as the oldest cat of all time. Another Texas cat holds that mark, living to 38 years old.

RIP Scooter! My condolences to Gail Floyd, and all that knew Scooter.
