This election has become historical for many reasons. We have our first female presidential candidate for a major party, and we have a television personality with no experience in politics running for the Republican party. No other election has raised this much uproar than this one. One topic that has started trending recently is a woman's right to vote. Women were given the right to vote in 1920. The women behind the 19th Amendment fought hard so we could vote. Everything from picketing to hunger strikes, to being arrested, they did it all to show that we deserve equal rights. Here we are in 2016, 96 years later, and our right to vote is being threatened. We all know that Donald Trump bleeds racism and misogyny.
