Kristen Stewart reportedly dating musician St. Vincent

Image
Photo Credit: Cosmopolitan   Stop the presses! We have a new power couple in the works! After an on-again/off-again relationship with Alicia Cargile, Stewart has reportedly moved onto musician St. Vincent (real name Annie Clark). The musician recently accompanied the actress to a NY film festival screening of Stewart's new movie 'Certain Women,' and the two ladies have been stuck together like glue ever since. One source told US Weekly: " It’s been very romantic. Kristen is always whispering closely in her ear and asking her opinion. " Note: Nothing has been confirmed by Kristen Stewart or St. Vincent. St. Vincent has recently split from Cara Delevingne. My Two Cents While I did like Alicia Cargile, I think St. Vincent looks better with Stewart. I am a biased party, though. I always root for females who have brown curly hair and freckles. We are cut from the same cloth!

Lesbian support blog AfterEllen to shut down after 14 years.

Photo Credit: Pride Sad news for AfterEllen fans: the leading lesbian news and culture blog published by Evolve Media, will end operations this week. AfterEllen began in 2002 and was named after Ellen DeGeneres. The Editor-In-Chief of the site, Trish Bendix, confirmed the sad news on Tumblr, saying: "Here are the facts: Evolve Media purchased AfterEllen from Viacom two years ago. They gave us two fiscal years to become their LGBT property and profit in that space, and they found we are not as profitable as moms and fashion. And, yes, ‘they’ are mainly white heterosexual men, which is important to note because not only is this the story for us, but for a lot of other properties—large-scale media outlets, lesbian bars out-priced by neighborhoods they helped establish, housing in queer meccas like Portland that is being turned into condos and AirBnBs. At the very same time, queer women and culture is being celebrated on the Emmys, in the legalization of both mothers being ...

Understanding what "sexually fluid" means.

Image
Photo Credit: zimbio Recently, 'Younger' star Nico Tortorella revealed that he is 'sexually fluid' in an interview with Page Six. The 27-year-old actor stated that he has never been in " any sort of closet, " and that he has " always done me and never been shy. " He also stated that he has always been vocal about it. Currently, Tortorella is dating a woman, but he embraces having an attraction to both men and women. "It’s just a fluidity. We’re all kind of moving into this one situation." Earlier this year, Tortorella opened up to Cosmo magazine about his outlook on modern relationships: "I think that an open relationship or a polyamorous relationship or an understanding of sorts is acceptable in this day and age. Relationships and people are my hobby of sorts. I love exchanging energy with people and getting to know people and falling in and out of love." So what's the difference between bisexuality and sexual...

Noah Galvin's controversial interview nearly cost the cast a full second season of "Real O'Neals."

Image
Photo credit: yahooimage "Real O'Neal's" star Noah Galvin has been in the news lately for his outlandish interview with Vulture. In the interview, Galvin, 22, accused Eric Stonestreet from "Modern Family" of "playing a caricature of a stereotype." He then commented on Colton Haynes' 'coming out' as being "f--king pu--y bullsh-t." ABC was not pleased with the interview and threatened to reduce the second season's episode order. The show's execs begged ABC to not cut the episode order. From what I've learned, ABC has had issues with Galvin in the past. They say that he has a "sense of entitlement" and an "ego." After the Vulture interview, Galvin issued the following statement: "I think Eric Stonestreet is a wonderful actor. I apologize to everyone I’ve hurt with my comments and understand the damage that has been done. I am new to this and will certainly commit to being more thoug...

'Matilda' star Mara Wilson opens up about her sexuality.

Photo Credit: eonline Moved by the tragic events that took place on Sunday in Orlando, former child actress Mara Wilson has decided to embrace her authentic self. The "Mrs. Doubtfire" star wrote a series of tweets revealing that she identifies as bisexual and queer. Wilson, 28, posted a photo of herself from 10 years ago at a gay club with friends. She then tweeted the following: "Me at a gay club when I was eighteen. I feel embarrassed looking at it now...Being a 'straight girl' where I clearly didn't belong, but I will say, I felt so welcomed there. I have never had a better experience at a club than I did then. Great music and people. And one of my friends met his partner that night! I haven't been to one since college, except once when a friend brought me along. I didn't feel like I belonged there. But the LGBTQ community has always felt like home, especially a few years later when I, uh, learned something about myself. So thank you. ...

Donald Trump says he's better for LGBT Americans than Hillary Clinton.

Image
Photo credit: wow In wake of the tragedy that occurred on Sunday, Donald Trump is using the opportunity to say that he is a friend of the gay community. He said that Hillary Clinton would "allow extremists into our country that reject our values." He added that immigration bans on countries that support Islamic extremism would 100% protect the LGBT community. Donald Trump delivered a national security speech in New Hampshire, and said this: "Hillary Clinton can never claim to be a friend of the gay community as long as she continues to support immigration policies that bring Islamic extremists to our country who suppress women, gays and anyone who doesn’t share their views. She can’t claim to be supportive of these communities while trying to increase the number of people coming in who want to oppress them. Ask yourself, who is really the friend of women and the LGBT community: Donald Trump with his actions, or Hillary Clinton with her words? Clinton wants to a...

Small explosion damages Target bathroom in wake of company's transgender policy.

Image
Photo Credit: newslocker A Target store in Illinois was shaken when a small bomb went off in the women's bathroom on Wednesday. According to Commander Joe Dugan, no one was injured when the explosion occurred. The bomb caused some damage, but nothing significant. It is theorized that a plastic bottle was used in the bomb. The investigation is still ongoing. It is being reported that a woman is in custody. Photo Credit: fox32chicago It is no secret that Target has been widely criticized for supporting trans men and women using the bathroom according to their gender identity. The religious right actually has a petition promising to boycott Target. The petition has 1.3 million signatures, and it continues to grow in popularity. As for whether crime is related to the bathroom policy, that's still up in the air, according to officials. However, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that it IS related. My Two Cents How can officials not see that this...
