Man appoints stuffed owl as his legal counsel

Image

Of course, it is hard to find a good lawyer to represent you when you have committed a crime that is clearly your fault. So, when you cannot find a good lawyer, and you don't want to represent yourself, what does a criminal do? Hire a stuffed owl that holds a law degree. Charles Abbott is accused of violating a protective order that involves a former roommate. Abbott allegedly assaulted his former roommate while at an AA meeting. Abbott's former roommate states that Abbott went to the home they shared in order to retrieve his belongings while the roommate was away. Fast forward to court day, when Abbott brought in his legal counsel. He placed the stuffed animal on the defense table, telling the judge that "Soloman" will be representing him. Abbott says this about his esteemed legal counsel: "He's a very sensitive guy, has law degrees

"19 Kids and Counting" star Josh Duggar admits to child molestation

photo credit: memegenerator It looks like the most moral family in the United States isn't as moral as we thought. The family that is known for bashing the gay community for their "immoral lifestyles" is now in the news because a dark secret has been exposed: one of them is a sexual deviant. Pot, meet kettle. A 2006 police report that was found by In Touch showed that the 27 year old was investigated for many sex offenses. The offenses happened 12 years ago, and occurred over a span of a couple of years. His family sent him to a Christian camp place and he came back a "changed person." Before Josh proposed to his (now) wife, Anna, he confessed his past sins to her and her parents. After the news broke of the molestations, Josh Duggar resigned from his Executive Director position at the Family Research Center. TLC has also pulled "19 Kids and Counting" from its schedule until further notice. My Two Cents: As sad as it is, I was waiting for some

Hollywood to remake 1996 classic "The Craft."

photo credit: thelostogle Once again, Hollywood has gotten all remake-happy and is about to bastardize another classic from my teen years. Yup. The 19 year old classic is about to come back, and I don't think "Manon" will be happy about this. Hollywood better watch its back. Leigh Janiak will be teaming up with Phil Graziadei to write the script. The Producer of the original movie, Doug Wick will be teaming up with Lucy Fisher to produce the film. Not much is known about what the remake will entail, but those of us who were lucky enough to see this movie in 1996 are NOT happy about it. My Two Cents: I was in love with this movie when I was a teenager. I wanted to be Nancy. I thought she was strong, amazing, and bad a**. There was even a period of time when I practiced Wicca. While I may have moved on from my Wiccan days, this movie still holds a special place in my heart. It's a f*cking classic, one that should NOT be remade. "I bind you, Hollywood,

Kelly Clarkson's daughter River Rose: The cuteness is strong with this one!

Image
photo credit: EOnline via Pinterest I don't know about you, but I can't help but smile whenever Kelly Clarkson and Brandon Blackstock share photos of their darling River Rose. Their most recent photo of River Rose shows her driving a car while smiling widely. Their chubby-cheeked angel has been illuminating social media since her birth last year. She is now 10 months old, and River Rose is already making a name for herself because of her cuteness. Clarkson has cooed about her bundle of joy, saying that she is a very happy baby (We can see why! Her mom is Kelly freakin Clarkson for f*ck's sake). Last Friday, Clarkson rang in her 33rd birthday, cooing on Instagram that she has the "best life ever." Yes, Kelly Clarkson, you definitely have the best life ever!
