"19 Kids and Counting" star Josh Duggar admits to child molestation
It looks like the most moral family in the United States isn't as moral as we thought. The family that is known for bashing the gay community for their "immoral lifestyles" is now in the news because a dark secret has been exposed: one of them is a sexual deviant. Pot, meet kettle.
A 2006 police report that was found by In Touch showed that the 27 year old was investigated for many sex offenses. The offenses happened 12 years ago, and occurred over a span of a couple of years.
His family sent him to a Christian camp place and he came back a "changed person." Before Josh proposed to his (now) wife, Anna, he confessed his past sins to her and her parents.
After the news broke of the molestations, Josh Duggar resigned from his Executive Director position at the Family Research Center. TLC has also pulled "19 Kids and Counting" from its schedule until further notice.
My Two Cents:
As sad as it is, I was waiting for something like this to come out. When I heard about this family years ago, I figured either one of them was a child molester, or at least 2 of the Duggar kids were gay. Another story broke out recently that Michelle Duggar had a crew member fired because the crew member is gay. Folks, firing someone because they love "differently" than you is a vile and despicable thing to do.
Of course, you can't be surprised by what this family does. It shouldn't be any surprise that they harbored a child molester and didn't turn the monster into the police when it happened. I'm not sure what the statute of limitations are in their state, but I'm sure 12 years may be too late for the victims to file a lawsuit against the pig.
As for God "saving him" from his desire to molest children, including his own sisters, I don't think God can do that. Someone as sick as Josh Duggar has a chemical imbalance in their brain. It's a mental illness. If God was able to take away that chemical imbalance in his brain, why hasn't he cured millions of cancer patients, or people with dementia or malnutrition? Why is a child molester like Josh Duggar the only person that can be saved from their illness?
Of course, the religious right has come out in defense of young Josh Duggar, saying that he did make a mistake, but God has forgiven him. "There is nothing to see here, move along."
Say what?!
The guy took advantage of several underage girls, and he also molested his own sisters! How can THAT sh*t be forgiven? Anyone that forgives a molestor needs to have their head examined.
Josh Duggar is a sick and twisted monster and I hope his show gets canceled. That entire family is insane for defending him. Then again, I'm not surprised.
Folks, if you support Josh Duggar, you are supporting his decision to molest children and commit incestuous acts on his sisters. Please stick your head in 500 degree oven and close the door behind you.
