Petition to get Raven-Symone removed from 'The View' has received over 100,000 signatures.

Image
photo credit: 15minutenews A petition addressed to Barbara Walters has gained national attention, as it requests the immediate removal of Raven-Symone from 'The View' for comments she recently made. Recently, Raven-Symone came under fire for siding with an officer who violently assaulted a young girl in South Carolina. After comments were made, dozens of people took to social media to blast Raven-Symone. The petition is only two days old but it has well over 100,000 signatures and the list is growing. You can find the Petition here: https://www.change.org/p/barbara-walters-petition-to-remove-raven-symone-from-the-view?recruiter=293473025 My Two Cents: I actually saw this coming. The surprising part is that it took THIS long for a petition to circulate. Signed. Sealed. Delivered!

5 shows you should be streaming on Halloween

Image
Happy Halloween ghouls and boys! If you are looking for something to watch on Netflix, Amazon, or Hulu, below are Blurbal Vomit's 5 shows to watch on this all hallow's eve: 1. Buffy the Vampire Slayer Buffy is one bad a** female who saves the world from vampires, demons, and all other forces of evil. While this show isn't 'goosebumps on your skin' scary, it is still fun to binge-watch. 2. Ghost Adventures As I'm writing this, I have this show playing in the background. The reason why I love this show is because the ghost hunters' reactions to what goes 'bump in the night' is pretty hilarious. What makes this show different from Ghost Hunters, is that the production is much smaller. 3. Grimm Nothing scares the ghosts or goblins more than a Grimm. Watch as the Grimm and his friends work together to defeat the forces of evil. 4. American Horror Story This show has been on my radar for quite some time. While I haven't watched it person

Halloween asteroid to 'trick-or-treat' past Earth this afternoon.

Image
An asteroid only discovered just a few weeks ago will pass by Earth, missing the planet by nearly 310,000 miles. The asteroid is called 2015 TB145, and poses no threat to life on Earth. The asteroid passed by Earth at 1:05pm EST and gave astronomy enthusiasts a spectacular view. 2015 TB145 is 1,300 feet wide. Our next close encounter with a large-sized asteroid will be in August of 2027. Asteroid 1999 AN10 will brush past us at a distance of 238,000 miles. My Two Cents: Thanks for the visit, Asteroid 2015 TB145. An even bigger 'thank you' for not TP'ing us!

Days of Gratitude (day four, video four).

Image
Happy Halloween everyone! I am here with another installment of "Days of Gratitude." In this video, I will be discussing what I am thankful for on this spooky Halloween. Now that I've talked about what I'm grateful for, I want to know what YOU are grateful for. Let me know in the comments below. Let's keep this Gratitude ball rollin!

Days of Gratitude (day three, video three).

Image
photo credit: Shauna Silva (Me and Blaze September 2015) Shooting this video was hard, as our family cat Blaze passed away unexpectedly this morning. I was getting ready for the day when my stepmother told me that Blaze suddenly became very sick. I rushed over to her side of the house and I stayed at Blaze's side until she passed away. Blaze lived a good and long 13 years. She was well taken care of and very much loved by all of us. I was thinking about what I could be grateful for on this sad day. While the pain of losing my dear kitty runs deep, I did find something that I was grateful for. My video explains everything. Now that I've talked about what I am grateful for, I want to know what YOU are grateful for today. Comment below. Let's keep this gratitude ball rollin!

Rapper Angel Haze tears into Raven-Symone for siding with a cop who assaulted a child.

Image
Angel Haze -- photo credit: openair Once again, Raven-Symone finds herself in hot water over something she has said. Raven-Symone said on "The View" that she sides with the police officer that pushed a young student to the ground and proceeded to drag her across the floor. The reason the officer did this is because the student was on their cell phone while in class. When the student did not acknowledge the police officer, he flipped her desk over and assaulted her. Video of the assault went viral and is one of the most discussed videos of the month. Raven-Symone said that while the assault may have been ridiculous, the student shouldn't have been on the phone. Raven is quoted as saying: " You gotta follow the rules in school ." Up-and -coming rapper Angel Haze was appalled by Raven's support for the police officer, and issued the following statement: "I guess yesterday I went on a Twitter rant, and I asked Raven-Symone to fight me--which, by

Maksim and Val Chmerkovsky are headed to 'Fuller House.'

Image
photo credit: Zimbio Maksim and Val are known for their chiseled good looks and dancing skills. It looks like they will be known for something else very soon: acting. Yes, the handsome brothers are setting their sights on the acting world. The boys have signed on to 'Fuller House' and will play the love interests of DJ Tanner-Fuller and Stephanie Tanner. Maksim will be wooing DJ Tanner-Fuller, played by Candace Cameron Bure, while Val will be romancing Stephanie Tanner, played by Jodie Sweetin. As of right now, it looks like the characters will meet at a dance club at some point. Candace Cameron Bure already knows the Chmerkovsky boys very well, as she made it to the final 3 on 'Dancing With the Stars' in 2014. My Two Cents: I don't mind seeing the eye candy on 'Fuller House.' However, DJ HAS to end up with Steve (played by Scott Weinger). If she doesn't, I will no longer endorse the show. LOL!

Days of Gratitude (day two, video two).

Image
Happy Thursday, readers! I have made another Gratitude video. I apologize for the lapse in Gratitude videos, I have explained the reason behind the lapse in the video below: Now that I have talked about the things that I'm grateful for, I want to know what YOU are grateful for. Let me know in the comments below. Let's keep this Gratitude ball rolling! ~Shauna~

New Mexico man beat friend to death in order to prevent him from turning into a zombie

Image
A police spokesman from Grants, New Mexico told press that 23 year old Damon Perry is being held on a murder charge . Officers were called to Perry's apartment and found Perry holding a knife. Twenty-three year old Christopher Paquin's body was found inside the apartment. Perry told investigators that he and Paquin were drinking. Perry then tells the investigators that Paquin started "turning into a zombie." Perry began beating Paquin with his feeet, hands, a microwave, and an electric guitar. Perry theorizes that his actions were the fault of binge-watching "The Walking Dead" on Netflix. My Two Cents: Suuure....blame a TV show for your epic f*ck up. As a recovering alcoholic, I've never been ripped enough to imitate actions seen on a TV show. Perhaps something deeper is going on with this guy. I wouldn't be surprised if this "zombie attack" was pre-meditated. Maybe dude was on bath salts.. Is it strange that I'm no

Beginning my Days of Gratitude series on YouTube

Image
Good afternoon, everyone. I decided that I would begin a series on YouTube, discussing things that I am grateful for. Each day, I will talk about one thing that I am grateful for and I will ask you all what you are grateful for. Below is day one of my Days of Gratitude series. Let me know what you think in the comments.

Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossedale settle terms of divorce.

Image
It looks like the terms of their divorce have been officially settled. Not only will Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossedale share joint custody of their 3 children, Gavin Rossedale will be getting less than half of the property the couple shared during their 13 year marriage (they did not have a pre-nup, but they agreed to these terms in order to expedite the settlement). In August, Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossedale broke the news of their split. A source close to the former couple stated the following to Us Magazine: "The split was a long time coming, and logistics were worked out months ago. It only looks sudden, but everything was worked out months ago so paperwork could be filed and the marriage could be ended quickly and easily. Things were rocky before [the birth of Apollo], but they tried to make the marriage work. But it just couldn’t. A lot of the feeling was gone." Recently, Stefani debuted an emotional song called "Used to Love You," which gained instant

Germaine Greer calls fans' acceptance of Caitlyn Jenner "misogynistic."

Image
Germaine Greer is an outspoken and respected feminist. She is someone who had done a great deal of work for women during the 2nd wave of feminism. While she is still down for us ladies, there is one lady she is not down with: Caitlyn Jenner. Jenner, who was born Bruce Jenner, made major headlines when she came out as transgender. She began her transition and went public with her new look over this past summer. Jenner has become (somewhat) a spokeswoman for the transgender community since coming out. Greer believes that the acceptance that Jenner has gained this year is a prime example of misogyny: "I think misogyny plays a really big part in all of this, that a man who goes to these lengths to become a woman will be a better woman than someone who is just born a woman.” Greer also believes that Caitlyn is only doing all of this in order to steal the spotlight from her famous family. It is important to note that Caitlyn Jenner began taking hormone treatments in the 198

Florida DUI suspect claims a dog was driving his car

Image
Reliford Cooper III, 26, led cops on a high speed chase Wednesday evening. Cooper III ran a stop sign, drove through two ditches, and crashed into a house. He got out of the car and booked it into a church. Churchgoers chased his a** off the property. When the police caught up to him and started handcuffing him, Cooper III told the cops that he wasn't driving. He said it was his dog. Police told the press that Cooper III smelled of alcohol and marijuana. Interestingly enough, a dog was nowhere to be found. My Two Cents: Dude, the "dog ate my homework" excuse is tired. Next time, blame your f*ck ups on a parakeet.

3 musicians/bands that need to come back into the spotlight

Image
Growing up, I spent my time listening to a lot of alternative rock, classic rock, grunge, and riot grrrl music. As I've gotten older, I've seen music change and evolve with the times. However, my love for the stars of yesteryear continue. Below are some of the musicians that I desperately want to come back into the spotlight: 1) Bif Naked Bif Naked didn't become widely known until her song "Lucky" was featured on "Buffy the Vampire Slayer." Thereafter, hits such as "I Love Myself Today (my personal favorite)" and "Choking on the Truth" began to rock the music world. Bif Naked put out her last CD in 2012, a CD of acoustic hits. In 2009, she put out an album called "The Promise." She battled and survived cancer, an experience she talks about openly on her Facebook page. Currently, she is planning her upcoming nuptials to Steve Allen, a friend of former bandmate, Jacen Ekstrom. 2) Shirley Manson (Garbage) Shi

Teen throws a small carrot at teacher's forehead, faces assault and battery charges.

Image
photo credit: muganwikia A 14 year old student from Virginia is in hot water after pelting her teacher in the forehead with a 2 inch carrot . Earlier this year, the teen walked out of class and ran into an old teacher of hers. That's when the teen threw the carrot at the teacher's forehead. The student was suspended from school and is facing assault and battery charges. The student's mother is baffled as to why her daughter is facing charges: "I don’t understand this Yes, it happened, and I can see a couple of days in school detention or even a couple days out-of-school suspension. But this goes way beyond that. We have to go to court, and her charges aren’t small: assault and battery with a weapon." My Two Cents: So I guess vegetables aren't good for us after all... In all seriousness though, while I do believe the student should be punished for disrespecting a teacher, I don't see a carrot as being a dangerous weapon. I mean, if it was dee

Breaking: Maureen O'Hara passes away at age 95.

Image
photo credit: filmnoirphotos Maureen O'Hara, many times dubbed "The Queen of Technicolor" passed away in her sleep on October 24, 2015. Her manager, Johnny Nicoletti told Associated Press on Saturday. O'Hara is known for her beautiful red hair, porcelain skin, piercing green eyes, and her ability to hold her own opposite big industry names. In her career, she acted alongside John Wayne in 5 different films. In 2003, O'Hara said this about acting alongside John Wayne: "I was tough. I was tall. I was strong. I didn’t take any nonsense from anybody. He was tough, he was tall, he was strong and he didn’t take any nonsense from anybody. As a man and a human being, I adored him.” Some of her most well-known movies include: Miracle on 34th Street, The Parent Trap, and Only the Lonely. My Two Cents: Maureen O'Hara was an iconic woman. She was fiery, strong, and incredibly talented. RIP Maureen O'Hara! You will be missed!

Relationship Advice: Do not become the "practice girl."

Image
photo credit: natomasarts Urban dictionary's definition of a "practice girl" is described as being a female who is fat/ugly/large/unattractive, that is used for sex in order to gain experience or practice for "someone better." Guys do not see these females as being relationship material. These girls do not matter to the ape-heads that use them. Basically, these guys use unsuspecting females in order to become better at their game, and prepare for something better to come along. Women face a lot of heart ache when they are "pumped and dumped" by a guy that they thought cared about them. For the most part, many of these ape-heads are acting in this way in their teen years/early 20s. Unfortunately, ladies, a few of these guys remain stunted in this behavior after ages 30, 40, 50, and so on. If you've been single for a long time, or if you are fresh and vulnerable out of a relationship, these guys may crawl out from the ground and try to

Kelly Clarkson reveals gender of baby number 2 in the cutest way.

Image
Kelly Clarkson announced in August that she and hubby Brandon Blackstock are expecting their second bundle of joy. On Friday, Clarkson's 1st bundle of joy, River Rose, helped with revealing her sibling's gender. photo credit: babynames On Instagram, Kelly Clarkson posted a photo of her 16 month old baby girl on a slide and smiling. In the caption, Kelly Clarkson writes: “In other news, River’s gonna have a little baby brother :) #itsaboy We’re so excited!” My Two Cents: Congrats to Kelly Clarkson and her hubby on expecting a boy!! River looks excited to become a big sister! I still cannot get over how adorable River Rose is. Isn't she the cutest baby ever??

Adele is back with her new song, "Hello," and it has ALL the feels!

Image
Adele is a woman whom I greatly admire. Her voice in flawless and her music is epic. She has been gone for a while, but she is back with a new song, and new album (being released in November). When it comes to singers coming back from a hiatus, sometimes they lose their image. This hasn't happened to Adele. She is the same woman who gave us hits such as "Chasing Pavements" and "Rolling in the Deep." Her song, "Hello" is absolutely beautiful. It is full of passion, heart, and soul. Take a listen for yourselves:

Behemoth Hurricane Patricia to impact Mexico later today.

Individuals on the southwestern coast of Mexico have been preparing for this monster category 5 storm since Thursday. Hurricane Patricia has maximum sustained winds of 200mph, making it the strongest storm ever in the Western Hemisphere. Forecasters are saying that this storm could make a "potentially catastrophic landfall" late in the day on Friday. The raw power of this storm is being compared to Typhoon Haiyan, which devastated the Philippines 2 years ago. Remnants of this behemoth storm are expected to impact Texas. Texans can expect very heavy rainfall. Hurricane Patricia is expected to make landfall between Manzanillo and popular vacation destination Puerto Vallarta by Friday evening. My Two Cents: This is a historic storm that we are looking at, folks. There has never been a storm this strong in the Western Hemisphere before. My heart and prayers are going out to those in the path of this storm. If any of my readers are in the path of this storm, please

Rebound sex: Yay or Nay?

It is often said that the best way to get over a former lover is to get under someone new. While this may resolve emotions temporarily, this quick fix could spell trouble later on, in a wide variety of ways. Are the more permanent consequences that could arise from a rebound sexcapade worth the 7 minutes in heaven? I don't think so. As a newly single woman, fresh out of a 3 and a half year relationship, I've often wondered if a rebound relationship would help me get over my ex. However, my more rational side realizes that the only way to heal after a bad break-up is to go through the grieving process, and become a whole person on my own. Only then can I be ready for my next relationship. I recently graduated from a dual-diagnosis treatment program. I was in for bipolar disorder and alcohol abuse. In these treatment programs, it is recommended that singles give themselves a year of abstinence in order to focus on recovery. Since I'm dealing with the dual-diagnosis, and the

"Cruel Intentions" to be remade into a TV Series on NBC.

It looks like FOX isn't the only one looking to rip iconic movies into a TV series. Apparently, NBC just ordered a pilot script for "Cruel Intentions." As we all remember, the movie ended with Annette Hargrove driving off with Sebastian Valmont's journal. Well, this TV reboot will pick up with the twosome's son, Bash Casey. 16 year old Bash Casey comes across his father's journal and finds out all the nasty little secrets of his family. The young man leaves his Kansas upbringing and moves to San Francisco. He starts school at Brighton Preparatory Academy on a scholarship. Not long after arriving, he finds himself mixed up in a similar world as his parents. My Two Cents: I remember seeing this movie in the theater when I was a teenager. The music was amazing, I loved the relationship between Annette and Sebastian (it was even better that the actors themselves were involved off-screen. It made their work on-screen more passionate). As much as I love the mo

Remake of "Rocky Horror Picture Show" in the works; Laverne Cox cast as Dr. Frank-N-Furter

Forty years ago, the world started doing the 'time warp' along to "Rocky Horror Picture Show." Well, it looks like we are about to see a 21st century remake. Fox is set to air the reboot of the iconic musical in the fall of 2016. Laverne Cox is rumored to be playing Dr. Frank-N-Furter. Kenny Ortega is directing, producing and choreographing the reboot. No other cast members have been announced as of yet. My Two Cents: Hollywood, have you completely lost your mind?! "Rocky Horror Picture Show" is one gem in theatrical history that should NOT be remade or rebooted. It is perfect just the way it is. Just stop with the f*cking remakes. Seriously.

Great Scott! It's Back to the Future day!

Happy Back to the Future day my faithful readers! Today marks the day that the characters from the movie visited the future. In the movie's version of 2015, we had hoverboards, automatic drying clothes, and more. I don't know about you, but I'm still waiting for my godd*mned hover-board! Anyways, enjoy your day! If you are able to, revisit the trilogy. If you have Amazon Prime, the trilogy is free to watch (until Halloween).

Random Blurbal thoughts

A few days ago, a dear friend of mine asked me how I stay so strong. Between going into treatment for bipolar and alcoholism, to a bad break up, to my spinal issues, he wondered how I manage it all. I honestly did not know what to say, because I don't even know how I stay so strong. I don't have all the answers. I get through everything by the only way I know how: I just take things moment by moment. I think where I went wrong in the past was I focused too much on the future. I worried about what everyone thought about me, and I wallowed too much in the things that were wrong in my life. I didn't appreciate the things that were going right in my life. I didn't take the time I needed in order to get myself well. It took my previous relationship imploding in on itself, and (secret) continued drinking, in order to finally seek help. Are there things I wish I had done differently? Yes and no. Part of me wouldn't change a thing because it got me where I am today. For the

Raven-Symone and AzMarie Livingston split.

The season of break-ups continue. Us Weekly reports that Raven split from AzMarie after 3 years together. The twosome began dating in 2012. Raven-Symone outed her relationship during one of Oprah's "Where Are They Now" episodes: "I'm in an amazing happy relationship with my partner, a woman. I am proud to be who I am and what I am. I don't want to be labeled gay. I want to be labeled a human who loves humans. I'm tired of being labeled." Raven-Symone co-hosts "The View." AzMarie Livingston was last seen on "Empire," and "America's Next Top Model: British Invasion." My Two Cents: Perhaps Raven's recent verbal diarrhea contributed to the break-up. Maybe AzMarie couldn't handle it and Raven left because AzMarie couldn't get on her insensitive level.

Newly single Gwen Stefani debuts new single "Used to Love You."

Image
Dun dun DUN! Gwen Stefani is baack! Back from her sugar-coated pop tart kick that she has been on for the last decade, she releases a new song that is full of heart and pain. As we all know, Stefani and Bush frontman Gavin Rossedale split earlier this year. During a recent NYC concert, Stefani debuted her new song: "Used to Love You." As a newly single woman myself, I am truly feeling this song. Each and every single word in this song is exactly what's in my heart after the rough end to my long-term relationship. Welcome back, Gwen! Keep making songs like this, and you will be my favorite female again! Here is Gwen debuting her song, "Used to Love You:"

Lamar Odom found unresponsive, rushed to the hospital.

Last night, news broke about Lamar Odom being found unresponsive in Nevada. The basketball player was visiting a Nevada brothel and was found in his room unconscious after several days of partying. Some reports are stating that he had taken herbal Viagra, but this has not been confirmed. When staff at the Love Ranch South found Odom, they immediately called 911. The operator told the staff to put him on his side. Liquid began shooting from his mouth. When responders arrived at the scene, Odom was stabilized and transported to a Las Vegas hospital. Odom's ex-wife, Khloe Kardashian, raced to his bedside. She was joined by her mother Kris, and her sister Kim Kardashian. Odom has long suffered from substance abuse issues, but it is unclear as to whether drugs and/or alcohol played a role in him becoming unresponsive. My Two Cents: While I am not a fan of this guy, my heart does go out to him. It's no secret that he has been suffering from some type of crisis. I am hoping an

Maksim Chmerkovskiy rips Dancing With The Stars, throws shade at former dance partner.

Those of us who have watched Dancing With The Stars for a while have probably had massive crushes on one or both of the Chmerkovskiy brothers. Hearts were broken when Maks left the show. If anyone watched the show Monday night, we were able to see beloved Maks as a guest judge during 'Switch-up week.' Well, the euphoria of seeing this man candy was short lived, when a podcast interview recorded on October 7th was released. In the podcast, Maksim tore the show a new one, and released information about a few of his former dance partners that should have been kept in the vault. Maksim felt "heavily censored" on the show, and he stated that it was because "Mickey Mouse" was writing his checks. “I’m honest to a fault… maybe I was just not a good person for ‘Dancing with the Stars’ because for me, it was never about politics or trying to look good for the camera... I had one job: I had to teach somebody how to dance… and I didn’t care how I looked in the proce

Donald Trump ordered to not use Aerosmith's hit "Dream On."

Oh Trump. You know you're hated when rock elite Aerosmith plead that you do not use their songs. Lawyers representing the band Aerosmith sent Donald Trump a few cease-and-desist letters, as Trump does NOT have permission to use "Dream On," or any of Aerosmith's many songs. Also, it gives the public the wrong impression that Aerosmith endorses Trump (they do not endorse him, by the way). This isn't Trump's first brush with iconic rock stars. Last month, he angered REM by using their hit song, "It's the End of the World As We Know It." Michael Stipe told Trump to go f*ck himself (rightly so). There was a rumor about a lawsuit between Trump and REM, but that wasn't true. My Two Cents: Trumpster really isn't making friends during this campaign. I don't blame Aerosmith for not wanting Trump to use their music. I wouldn't want anything to do with that un-be-weave-able troll either. Sh*t, I don't want anything to do with any

My name is Shauna Silva and I am...(part four: 1 month sober!)

Today marks 1 month clean and sober for me! As I enter my fourth week of treatment, I couldn't be more prouder of all the work I have put in to my treatment and recovery. Sure, I do have the assistance of medication, but we all know that medication doesn't do jack without you being completely on board with your recovery. This weekend was a rough weekend for me. Friday and Saturday, I did experience cravings for alcohol (I did NOT drink). I was stressed out because I was running low on my bipolar medication, and I was stressing because I was in a lot of pain from my spinal condition. I decided Friday through Saturday night that I would just keep my activities stress-free. I ended up having a mental health day and kept myself calm. Boy, it was hard, but it was surprisingly effective. Sunday, as you can tell, I was hard at work with my blogging. I spent extra time in meditation, which helped slow down my thoughts and decrease my stress. It was a good day. That is one thing I wa

In honor of National Coming Out Day..

Today, October 11, 2015, is National Coming Out Day. It is a day where the LGBT community and allies come together to support one another with 'coming out.' National Coming Out Day started 27 years ago, on the anniversary of the National March on Washington for Gay and Lesbian rights. The Human Rights Campaign honors everyone who comes out as LGBTQ, or as a straight ally. My story: I spent my early childhood liking boys. I had my crushes, and had my heart crushed. When I entered 7th grade, I became friends with a cool girl. I started to have feelings for her, which most people knew about. I kept everything silent as I got older, as I was constantly teased about my weight and mental illness. I didn't want to be teased for liking girls too. In college, things were a little easier. I met a few females, but I primarily dated guys (I was still a little scared to go fully in to dating females). In my late 20s, I met a woman off the internet. We dated for a month before thing

800 pound man kicked out of hospital for ordering a pizza.

Thirty-three year old Steven Assanti was staying at Rhode Island Hospital in order to lose enough weight to have the gastric bypass surgery. Unfortunately, the hospital kicked him out after he decided to order a pizza. Now Assanti has nowhere to go. On Tuesday, he was moved to Kent County Hospital until he could find a permanent place to stay. My Two Cents: I cannot feel sorry for this man because if he really wanted to lose weight, he would have stayed on the weight loss plan that Rhode Island Hospital implemented for his care. He screwed himself with this one. I battle mental illness, alcohol dependency, and a food addiction. I have plans in place for me so I can live a healthy and productive life. I adhere to these plans because I want better for my life. Is it hard? Abso-f*cking-lutely. Does Mr. Assanti have any idea how lucky he was to even get the help he got for 80-some odd days at RI Hospital? There are thousands of people who would kill for that opportunity. With addict

Kim Davis offered $500,000 to do a lesbian porn scene.

As if the Kim Davis saga couldn't get anymore disturbing, we have this story, brought to you by The New Civil Rights Movement . According to The New Civil Rights Movement, Dogfart Network (yes, it is a real site), made an offer to Kim Davis in an attempt for her to redeem herself. They offered her $500,000 to do an interracial lesbian scene for their Zebra Girls porn site: “We here at Dogfart have always believed in equality. We have interracial sites, gay sites, straight sites, and we think Kim Davis has been appalling. We are giving her a chance at a redemption. We are willing to drop half a million bucks for Kim to come out to our studio and shoot an Interracial Lesbian scene for our network. The offer will stand for the next week." The folks over at Dogfart took it a step further, inviting her family to come with her, all expenses paid. There is no word on whether Kim Davis has accepted the deal, or whether she will be wearing that sexy jumper that she always rocks i

UCONN student loses his sh*t over mac and cheese.

As a Connecticut resident, I am used to the fact that this state is somewhat of an embarrassment. For example, we have the embarrassment that is Governor Dannel Malloy (as to why he was elected into office for a second term, I will never know). We also seem to have the Einsteins that think it's hilarious to walk up and down highways completely nekkid (this has happened a handful of times in the past few years). This week, we have 19 year old Luke Gatti, who thought it would be a bright idea to walk into the UCONN food court with an open container of alcohol and get some mac and cheese with bacon and jalapeno peppers. When confronted about having an open container in the cafeteria, he questioned why in America he couldn't have an alcoholic beverage in the building (well, being underage might be a fairly good reason). After using homophobic slurs and demanding his g*ddamned mac and cheese, he is tackled by an employee (after shoving the cafeteria manager), arrested by a police

Raven-Symone throws shade at people with "ghetto names."

The verbal vomit continues to spew from Raven-Symone's mouth. On Thursday's episode of The View, a video was shown that listed 60 of the most " ghetto names ." Raven-Symone said this about people with "ghetto names: “...I am very discriminatory against words like the ones that they were saying in those names. I’m not about to hire you if your name is Watermelondrea. It’s just not going to happen. I’m not going to hire you."       For some strange reason (sarcasm, by the way), Raven's comments have caused quite a controversy. Raven is no stranger to controversy. She had publicly denounced her heritage and her sexual orientation, which angered many people. My Two Cents: Oh Raven. You never cease to amaze me. I remember when you were this cute little kid on The Cosby Show. Now, I just wish you could revert back to your 7 year old self, before you became a hateful and jaded young woman. Discriminating against someone for their name is just tacky.

ABC Family cancels "Chasing Life," and my thoughts on the cancelation.

There aren't many shows on TV that have a beautiful storyline and an amazing cast. For two seasons, we had that in "Chasing Life." Chasing Life is a show about a young lady (April) who finds out she has cancer. We watch as this April juggles her work life, family life, personal life, and cancer treatments.  ABC Family recently aired the season two finale, which left viewers with a sh*t ton of unanswered questions. A few days later, they up and cancel the show. The reasoning behind canceling the series? They want to make room for reality TV and Nicki Minaj. Seriously. I don't know what is in the water over at ABC Family HQ, but canceling a good show in order to back trashy shows and trashy wanna-be rappers is just bad business. If we wanted to watch trashy reality shows and bad entertainers, we'd watch E! and MTV. Chasing Life was the best show ABC Family had (Yes, even better than Pretty Little Liars). I have been paying close attention to social media, and
