Germaine Greer is an outspoken and respected feminist. She is someone who had done a great deal of work for women during the 2nd wave of feminism. While she is still down for us ladies, there is one lady she is not down with: Caitlyn Jenner. Jenner, who was born Bruce Jenner, made major headlines when she came out as transgender. She began her transition and went public with her new look over this past summer. Jenner has become (somewhat) a spokeswoman for the transgender community since coming out. Greer believes that the acceptance that Jenner has gained this year is a prime example of misogyny: "I think misogyny plays a really big part in all of this, that a man who goes to these lengths to become a woman will be a better woman than someone who is just born a woman.” Greer also believes that Caitlyn is only doing all of this in order to steal the spotlight from her famous family. Anne Hathaway, who first drifted onto the scene in "The Princess Diaries," is being told by directors that she, at age 32, is "too old " to play young female characters: "I can’t complain about it because I benefitted from it. Tennessee state troopers stopped Nelly's bus for failure to display DOT and IFTA stickers on the bus. When the bus stopped, troopers noticed the smell of weed coming from the bus's direction. Troopers searched the bus (with probable cause), and found 5 crystal rocks that tested positive for meth. Also found were small amounts of weed, and 100 small ziplock bags. A number of guns were also found on the bus. Nelly and 6 others were brought to Putnam County jail. No other information has been given on this story. Come on, Nelly...why you gotta turn to meth?!
