Donald Trump calls for the United States to consider profiling American Muslims.
Photo Credit: AOL On Sunday's "Face the Nation," Donald Trump stated that in order to stop terrorism, the United States needs to start profiling Muslim Americans (yes, this includes the Muslim Americans who were born here). "I think profiling is something we’re going to have to start thinking about as a country. I hate the concept of profiling. But we have to use common sense. We’re not using common sense. Other countries do it, and it’s not the worst thing to do." His comments were made on the one week anniversary of the worst mass shooting in modern American history. Immediately following the mass shooting, Donald Trump patted himself on the back for "being right" about "radical Islamic terrorism." Of course, he truly showed his ignorance about the situation the day after the shooting when he stated in a speech that the shooter, Omar Mateen, was "born an Afghan."
