Betty White is a woman I admire more than anyone in Hollywood. She is who I want to be when I grow up. Lucky for her fans, she has disclosed her secret to her long life. White, who turns 96 years YOUNG on January 17, says she tries to enjoy life so she can live happily. What else does she recommend? "Accentuate the positive, not the negative. It sounds so trite, but a lot of people will pick out something to complain about, rather than say, ‘Hey, that was great!’ It’s not hard to find great stuff if you look." As for her diet, well, she isn't the type to limit herself to health food. She enjoys herself some Vodka and Hot Dogs! This gave me an idea: I should dedicate a blog post to the most famous cats in movies. Simba - The Lion King Our hero from The Lion King, Simba, grew up before our very eyes. He lost his dad, was on his own, made new friends, grew up, battled the mean guys, and got the girl. Garfield - Garfield I know Garfield is technically a TV cat, but you forget that a live action Garfield movie was made. Christy Hemme, the bubbly WWE Diva who dazzled the crowd in the 2000s, has given birth to quadruplets. Hemme announced the births on Twitter on Saturday, saying that "surgery went extremely well. Christy and all 4 babies are safe!" Hemme has documented her pregnancy on Instagram, with baby bump updates, how she's been feeling, and more. Singer/Actress/Food Blogger Haylie Duff is expecting her second child with fiance Matt Rosenberg. The 32-year-old shared the baby news on Instagram on Friday with a pic and caption: "Round 2! The first major celebrity death of 2018 has occurred, and it is a legendary actor from a legendary family. Jerry Van Dyke, brother of Dick Van Dyke, has passed away. He was 86. Van Dyke passed away Friday due to declining health that stems from a car accident from a few years ago. Jerry Van Dyke is best known for his role as Luther Van Dam in the hit show Coach. He made his television debut as Rob Petrie's brother Stacey on The Dick Van Dyke Show. He also guest-starred on The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Charles in Charge, and Raising Hope. He is survived by his brother, actor Dick Van Dyke. RIP Jerry Van Dyke!

You add in the coined "Bomb Cyclone," and it's added salt in an open wound. To make matters worse, even colder air has moved in, making those balmy near zero temps a thing of the past. Those temps have been replaced with sub zero temperatures, with wind chills well below zero. The cold air has moved as far south as Florida, where reports of frozen iguanas have fallen out of palm trees (according to reports, the iguanas are still alive, despite being frozen in a cocoon). I know that sounds funny, but this should show you all how dangerous this weather is. It is important to keep yourselves safe during these temps. Make sure you bundle up. Wear layers. Actor Matt Lanter, best known for his work on 90210, is officially a father! His wife Angela welcomed their first child, a daughter, last Saturday. Lanter announced the birth on social media Friday, along with a pic of the couple and their daughter, MacKenlee Faire Lanter, and a caption that read: "Welcome to the world my little angel!" Miley Cyrus, a judge on this past season of 'The Voice,' did something so beautiful that it deserves to be shared. Janice Freeman, one of Miley Cyrus' singers that she coached, had fallen upon hard times. If you watched the last season of 'The Voice,' you know a little about Freeman's story: she is a young woman who has been through a lot in life. She battled and survived cancer, she takes care of her family, and her dream is to share her God-given voice with the world. I regret to inform you of this, but hit show "The Fosters" will end after 5 seasons. The second half of season 5 will premiere on January 9, with 10 episodes. This summer, the show will conclude with a 3-night limited series event. But don't despair, 'Foster' fans. A spin-off has been ordered, and it will follow Callie and Mariana as they make their way into adulthood. The spinoff has been approved for 13 episodes. The Fosters has been a groundbreaking show for not only Freeform, but for prime time TV in itself. The show followed a same sex couple and their adopted children through various storylines. The show also featured the youngest ever same-sex kiss, which was shared by characters Jude and Connor a few years ago. The show has had its share of controversy, but has proven to be a big hit, and has stood the test of time. Welcome to the newest season of 'The Bachelor.' Last night, we learned more about Arie Luyendyk Jr., and we met the 30+ women who are hoping to win his heart. Among the 30+ women, we had 2 social media managers, 3 realtors, and 4 Laurens (and a partridge in a pear tree). Many of the women made great first impressions. One girl presented Arie with a small weiner. One girl had Arie smell her armpits (really). Another wore a mask, in reference to Arie's reputation as the 'kissing bandit.' As I perused the many prenatal heartbeat monitors available for purchase on Amazon, I came across Bjingles. It was the only one that was within my budget range, and had decent reviews. As soon as the product arrived in the mail, I set it up so I could use it. The package containing the monitor also contained headphones, earbuds, a wire to connect the monitor to your phone, a 9 volt battery, and the monitor piece itself. According to Business Insider, chocolate could go extinct as early as 2050. In a 2010 edition of Scientific American, it foretold that deadly fungal diseases could impact cacao plants. And because most cacao plants are restricted to rainforest land 20 degrees on either side of the equator, cacao is also susceptible to global warming. Mars, the company responsible for everyone's favorite candies: M&Ms and Snickers, will be teaming up with UC Berkley scientists in order to create a disease-resistant cacao plant that has the ability to grow at various elevations in the world. Scientists will be using a gene-editing technology called CRISPR. This is the same gene technology responsible for turning mice feet green in some case studies.
