Breaking: John Kasich ends presidential campaign.

kasich
GOP candidate John Kasich has just ended his run for the presidency, according to two individuals who have been let in on his decision.

The departure from the campaign comes a day after Trump was victorious in the Indiana primary. It also comes mere hours after Ted Cruz, Trump's closest republican competition, ended his campaign.
Kasich's run was a long-shot. He did not have nearly as many delegates as his rivals did. He also appeared to be the only one out of Trump and Cruz who attempted to be a more positive candidate.

Trump's victory in Indiana solidified the fact that Kasich did not have a chance in getting the nomination.
Trump is now the only Republican running for president and it puts him in a great position to secure the presidential nomination for the Republican party.

My Two Cents

Ted Cruz said something that I sort of agree with: "If Donald Trump becomes president, it will be a Biff Tannen presidency."
Our only hope is that Bernie Sanders secures the Democratic nomination and wins the election.
John Kasich didn't have a prayer, in my opinion. He was an ass just like his fellow GOP candidates, but he faded into the background.

Anyways, I'm glad that two pieces of trash took themselves out. God help us if Trump wins this election.
