Blake Lively's Instagram post "LA face, Oakland booty" upsets the internet.

Just when we thought we had seen the last of privileged and famous white women tweeting and instagramming "LA face with an Oakland booty," Blake Lively enters the game.

The 28-year-old actress was in France promoting Woody Allen's "Cafe Society," and posed for pictures while attending Cannes. On Tuesday, she shared a split photo from the red carpet: the first half shows her gold flowing gown from the front, the second half of the picture shows the dress from behind. Lively instagrammed the photo to the masses, along with the caption: "L.A. face with an Oakland booty (a line from Sir Mix-a-lot's 'Baby Got Back).'"

This did not sit well with the masses.

One Twitter follower posted the following:
"Another day, another rich white woman using WOC's bodies as a punchline and commodity. As if Blake Lively wasn't the worst already."

Another user posted this one (and it's actually my favorite one):
"I want to follow Blake Lively just to unfollow after this LA/Oakland business. So much privilege even GOOP feels uncomfortable." *snort!*

This next one was pretty powerful:
"@blakelively instead of your Oakland booty tell us more about how Woody Allen empowers women and the abuse allegations are not your business."

Blake Lively joins Katy Perry and Khloe Kardashian in the Epic Fail line at the "Don't let this happen to you" store.

My Two Cents

The privilege being exposed here...it burns. Just stop everything, Blake Lively, and be ashamed of yourself.
