Kansas Christian school will expel students who have LGBT relatives.

Trinity Academy, a school that prides itself on being full of "truth and character," recently sent out a letter to all current and prospective students.
The letter, a Statement of Understanding and Agreement for Parent and Student, has its usual drivel of 'God this, God that, blah blah blah.' The last paragraph, however, is quite disturbing:

"Given the debate and confusion in our society about marriage and human sexuality it is vital that Trinity families agree with and support the school’s traditional, Christian understanding of those issues. Therefore, when the atmosphere or conduct within a particular home is counter to the school’s understanding of a biblical lifestyle, including the practice or promotion of the LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender) lifestyle or alternative gender identity, the school should have the right, in its sole discretion, to deny the admission of an applicant or discontinue enrollment of a current student."

So basically, if the student is as Christian as they come, they can still be expelled from this school if they have a relative that is LGBT. Prospective students may not get in if they have a gay/lesbian/bi/trans/queer/genderfluid/intersex/etc relative.
God must be so proud of these educators.

My Two Cents

So...
Do these educators visit the homes of the students and interview every living family member? How do they find out if someone is gay? Do they sniff people out? Do they pour water on family members? Or do they just invoke good ole Jesus for help?
In all seriousness folks, this school policy is ridiculous. It's like something you would find in a nazi handbook.

If you have half a brain, don't go to this school. The last thing we need is more Donald Trumps running around.

For S&G (Sh*ts and Giggles), here is a copy of their entire policy:
