North Carolina Gov. Pat McCrory has until 6pm today to decide on HB2 repeal.

post
The day has come for disgraced North Carolina Governor Pat McCrory to decide whether he will abide by the Department of Justice's warning and repeal anti-LGBT bill HB2, or risk losing billions of dollars in federal funding. North Carolina Republicans have been fighting tooth and nail trying to maintain their stance on HB2. They have received a ton of backlash from the rest of the country, and throughout the world for their bigoted viewpoints.
This 'bathroom bill' has already cost North Carolina its reputation, concerts, and it has cost them relationships with other states. Losing federal funding will economically crush the Tar Heel state. Despite all that North Carolina will lose, Governor McCrory doesn't seem to be changing his mind. He continues steadfast in his journey to humiliate his state, and spew nothing but homophobia and transphobia. He has asked for more time in making his decision, but it doesn't seem as if he will get the extension, unless he admits that HB2 is discriminatory. McCrory refuses to admit his bill is discriminatory.

As someone who is currently vacationing in the Tar Heel state, it is hard to enjoy all the beauty around me, when a law, such as HB2 exists and is discriminatory against my LGBT community. If it weren't for the fact that I had family here, I would refuse to set foot in this state. I know that many North Carolinians are embarrassed by the bill, and I really feel for our supporters.
Governor McCrory needs to realize that HB2 is criminal and he needs to realize that he will single-handedly flush this beautiful state down the toilet if he doesn't repeal the bill.

Tick tock, sir. Tick tock! Make the right decision!

UPDATE: Gov McCrory has filed a lawsuit against the DOJ over the 'bathroom bill" deadline.
