List of celebrities and businesses boycotting the anti-LGBT laws.

boss
In wake of the devastating anti-LGBT laws being passed in North Carolina, and now Mississippi, prominent businesses and celebrities are voicing their boycott of both states.

Last week, Bruce Springsteen canceled a concert in North Carolina in protest of the disparaging law. He did refund ticket sales to his fans. (You are still "The Boss," my good man!)
Today, Bryan Adams canceled his events in Mississippi in protest of the hateful anti-LGBT bill that recently passed (if you remember from my post about Mississippi's anti-LGBT bill, not only are members of the LGBT community discriminated against, single mothers, divorcees, and people who engage in premarital sex, can be denied services. Basically, if you are a single mother, recently divorced, and you engage in premarital sex, you can be denied a cup of coffee at your favorite coffeehouse, this all depends on how Christian your server is).

The list of businesses and celebrities keeps growing by the day, and their boycott reasons are all the same. The following are some of businesses and celebrities that are boycotting both North Carolina and Mississippi:

-Bruce Springsteen
-Paypal
-Bryan Adams
-Billy Ray Cyrus
-Various conventions
-Rob Reiner

Facebook, Amazon, Google, and more have also voiced their disapproval of the anti-LGBT bills that the two states passed. Many states have already banned state-funded travel to North Carolina and Mississippi until further notice. Businesses are moving out of North Carolina as we speak, and the economic impact of both states' hate-monger laws is expected to be horrific (both states are at high risk of losing federal funding. The loss could be in the billions. We all know what happens from there).

Today, I read about a porn site that has blocked North Carolinians from accessing it. I'm still trying to find out more about it, and it may be a separate topic for a later article.

Anyways, I would like to thank all the businesses and celebrities for supporting the LGBT community. This law is a cancer in our everyday lives and it needs to be obliterated.
