Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton sweep Tuesday's primaries. What's next?

primary
In a no-holds-barred fight to the nomination, Donald Trump, Ted Cruz, Hillary Clinton, and Bernie Sanders pulled out all the stops in order to stay ahead of the competition.
Candidates campaigned in all 5 states in yesterday's primary: Connecticut, Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Delaware.

So where did all the chips fall? GOP candidate Donald Trump claimed victory in all 5 states. Clinton claimed victory in Connecticut, Delaware, Pennsylvania, and Maryland. Bernie Sanders snagged a win in Rhode Island.

Now that the I-95 primaries are over, what's next for the candidates?
Well, you can expect a 100% chance of mud-slinging, lots of drama, and countless inappropriate speeches from Donald Trump. Ted Cruz is expected to make a "huge" announcement later today. Some speculate that it may have something to do with his choice for Vice President. Others think he is dropping out (here's hoping!).

As far as Bernie Sanders is concerned, he is still full-steam ahead, despite losing 4 of 5 states to Hillary Clinton. Sanders has enough financial support, and voter support to take this campaign all the way to the Democratic National Convention. He and Hillary Clinton still nit pick at various topics, but they both have similar goals in mind: Climate change is important, equal rights for all, raise minimum wage, make college affordable. Both agree on those topics.

As far as John Kasich is concerned, I don't see him getting much further in the Presidential race. He is almost forgotten in the mix.  He doesn't stand out and appears to be a cheap copy of Ted Cruz. It's not a question of if he will drop out in the next month or so, it's when.

As for right now, our frontrunners are Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton. There is still a lot of time until the Republican and Democratic National Conventions, so it is anyone's game. In the mean time, we can expect the candidates to continue their campaign for votes throughout the country. They have their upcoming California primaries, which can make or break a candidate's potential to be on the ballot come November. The states that remain have a YUGE Bernie Sanders following, so he could pull out several victories. Like I said, it is anyone's game.
