Geno Auriemma hospitalized

UCONN Huskies women's basketball coach Geno Auriemma has been hospitalized with an undisclosed illness.

The 62-year-old boarded a plane at Bradley International Airport in Connecticut, and subsequently deplaned after realizing he wasn't well enough to fly. Auriemma was feeling sick for a week, and had missed the victory party in Hartford last weekend due to the illness.

Auriemma has coached with the lady Huskies for 31 seasons, averaging 955-134 with the famed team. The team just celebrated their 11th National Title in a row. (Let's go Huskies, Let's Go!)

According to UCONN, Auriemma is resting comfortably. Nothing more has been released.
