Kim Kardashian West's nude selfie continues to rattle the internet.

A few days ago, the internet experienced massive damage when Kim Kardashian West shared a nude selfie to her millions of followers. The shockwave reached as far as the eye can see.

*Note: I won't be sharing the nude photo.*

Celebrities sprang into action to voice their disdain for the photo. Bette Midler was the first to voice her opinion, saying:
"Kim Kardashian tweeted a nude selfie today. If Kim wants us to see a part of her we've never seen, she's gonna have to swallow the camera."
Mrs. West replied:
"Hey @BetteMidler I know it's past your bedtime but if you're still up and reading this send nudes #justkidding...
hey @BetteMidler I really didn't want to bring up how you sent me a gift awhile back trying to be a fake friend then come at me #dejavu."

Bette Midler tried to explain that she was joking (she's a funny lady after all). Kim wasn't having it.

More celebrities chimed in on the nude selfie:
Teen actress Chloe Grace Moretz sent a well-worded slut-shame to Kim Kardashian, to which she replied:
"Let's all welcome @ChloeGMoretz to twitter, since no one knows who she is. your nylon cover is cute boo."

Piers Morgan and P!nk also discussed the selfie, sending jabs back and forth to Kim Kardashian. Chrissy Teigan, a friend of both Kim and Kanye, attempted to make light of the situation. Bella Thorne also came to Kim's defense.

It wasn't until Miley Cyrus joined the feud where things took an interesting turn.
Cyrus wrote: "Dear women, you ALL are acting tacky AF!" Cyrus sniped on Instagram. "Why don't we overly (myself included) fortunate women come together and try to create and bring jobs to other women in desperate need of them so they can support not only THEMSELVES but their families! . . . Can we all put the c--tiness aside for one f--king day and love / celebrate one another!"
It was then when people on social media put Cyrus on blast for calling the women involved "tacky AF."
This all happened on International Women's Day, mind you.

Our hope for the future, Rowan Blanchard, eloquently stated that feminists should not be mad at Kim Kardashian West for sharing nude selfies, when nude photos of women are being non-consensually shared. Out of the mouths of babes. This kid should run for president when she grows up.

So where do I stand on the issue of Kim Kardashian West sharing her nekkid self with the world?

My Two Cents:

I was ready to unleash on her, but, after reading what Rowan Blanchard wrote, my opinion has changed. While I do not like Kim K as a person, she (as we all do) has a right to flaunt what she's got. The photo was shared by Kim herself, so it isn't a situation where someone hacked her accounts and shared it without her permission.

It is our choice whether we choose to look, and allow it control over our lives (It's obvious it controls some of you). I think that it is a little ridiculous that this topic is still relevant.

So, if a woman wants to show off a body she is proud of, she has that right. It is the viewer's choice to either react accordingly, or slut-shame. When you slut-shame, you lose your credibility, especially since we ALL have skeletons in our closet. Unless you are perfect, don't shame others for their decisions.

Kim Kardashian West, you have officially broken the internet. Well done.
