Donald Trump wants to punish women who get an abortion

On Wednesday, GOP presidential hopeful Donald Trump gave his two cents on how he feels about abortion.
While Trump was on MSNBC, he told Chris Matthews that he feels abortion should be banned. He also said that women who have abortions should be punished. Matthews asked for clarification on his feelings about banning abortion. Trump said the following:

"Look, people in certain parts of the Republican Party, conservative Republicans, would say 'Yes, it should.'"

Matthews pressed the topic further and Trump danced around the topic. He told Matthews that he is pro-life, and that their has to be some form of punishment for women who have abortions.

My Two Cents

If Trump gets elected, women will slowly lose their rights. We already know how he feels about us. He doesn't see us as being equal to men.
The abortion topic is a very hot topic. In my opinion, women should have the right to make that choice. Banning abortion will be traumatic to a woman who is pregnant from a violent rape. Banning abortion will be traumatic to a woman who is forced to keep a pregnancy that is the result of a violent incestuous encounter.

I read some of the tweets from Trump's camp, and they said that if abortion were to become illegal, people who illegally have abortions should be punished. Here's an idea, don't make it illegal. Women should not be punished for something that is out of their control. Women are the victims when it comes to being pregnant from a rape. They are not criminals, and they should NEVER be treated as such.

Trump is out of his mind, and this just further proves that he is unfit to speak for all Americans. He has no respect for us women, or our bodies. He is pure evil. We need a leader who sees us as equals, and wants us to have control over our own bodies.

By the way, I know I will end up with comments from the pro-Trumpers and pro-lifers. Before you start foaming at the mouth, go talk to a woman who was chastised for aborting a pregnancy that came from a rape. There are many sites out there that women go to for support. Read their stories. Hopefully the stories will melt that polar ice cap you call a heart.
