postJanet Waldo, who voiced Judy Jetson on The Jetsons, passed away on Sunday after suffering from an inoperable brain tumor. She was 96. Ms. Waldo also voiced Josie on "Josie and the Pussycats." Along with her voice acting, she made appearances on various TV shows, including "Get Smart," and "I Love Lucy."

post We also lost Michu Meszaros, who played beloved Alf on 80s sitcom Alf. Meszaros died on Monday after being found unconscious and slipping into a coma. The 2-foot-9 legend had been in poor health for years, after suffering from a stroke 8 years ago. He was 76.
Before Alf, Michu Meszaros performed with Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus.

My Thoughts

As soon as I heard about these deaths, I shouted "Nooo" into the vortex. I watched Alf, and the Jetsons, all the time when I was younger.
I'm sad that they have passed on. I am thankful for what they have contributed to entertainment.

Why TNT did not air the season premiere of "The Last Ship."

TNT decided to postpone the season 3 premiere due to the tragedy that took place in Orlando, Florida in the early hours of Sunday morning. At least 50 people died, and another 53 were injured when a gunman opened fire at a popular club in Florida. Season 3 of "The Last Ship" was to open with gunshots being fired at a nightclub full of patrons. TNT has not announced a new premiere date for the season premiere of "The Last Ship." My Two Cents I am really glad that TNT had enough respect to postpone the premiere. Even though I am a fan of the show, I think it would be inappropriate to show an episode involving that subject matter. Thank you, TNT! Actor Wil Wheaton criticizes Paul Ryan's response to Texas Church shooting.

Ryan tweeted for a "call to prayer." Wheaton subsequently posted the following in response: "The murdered victims were in a church. If prayers did anything, they'd still be alive, you worthless sack of s**t." After receiving a TON of backlash, Wheaton tried to explain his tweet in a series of later tweets: "Hey, real and actual people of faith: I hear you. I apologise for insulting you, in my rage at Paul Ryan's refusal to address gun violence." He also stated that Paul Ryan is someone who exploits his faith by hiding behind his words without conducting actual good deeds. Wheaton also expressed his upset that Ryan refused to address gun violence. My Two Cents The thing I love about Wil Wheaton is that he is not afraid of expressing his opinion.
