Days after Hillary Clinton was declared the presumptive Democratic nominee for the President, President Obama has requested to meet with Bernie Sanders privately in the Oval Office. While President Obama is expected to endorse presumptive Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton, he is not going to ask Sanders to drop out of the race. White House press secretary Josh Earnest told reporters that President Obama believes that Bernie Sanders has "more than earned the right to make his own decision about the course of his campaign."
Much of the conversation between Obama and Sanders will center around unifying a divided Democratic party, and what Sanders' role can be in doing this.

Bernie Sanders has been steadfast in his disagreements with Hillary Clinton.
The question is: Can he and Clinton settle things in order to unify the party and take down Trump?

My Two Cents

My support for Bernie Sanders isn't as solid as it once was. I don't think he has a chance at winning the election. Don't get me wrong, I agree with all of the same issues as Senator Sanders, but, I think that one needs to come to the realization that Clinton is now the presumptive nominee, and it is time for the party to come together to defeat the giant cheeto (Donald Trump).

There has to be a way that everyone can come together, compromise on important issues, and destroy Trump's chances at the White House.
