Supreme Court strikes down Texas abortion restrictions.

The 5-to-3 decision overturns the Texas law that has been in existence since 2013. This law required doctors to have admitting privileges at hospitals, and for facilities to mirror walk-in surgical centers. Since 2013, many clinics dropped abortion services in Texas (which means women were probably going to Mexico to get botched abortions. Hmm, when did it become 1972?).
Many pro-choice activists, and pro-life activists, stood outside the Supreme Court as justices made their ruling.
My Two Cents
By Texas having those abortion limits, they are forcing women to endure the memories of an assault by keeping a pregnancy. What about women who became pregnant out of an incestuous rape? Would you really look into the eyes of a woman who has gone through absolute hell and back, and tell her that she has to stay pregnant in order to satisfy your outdated biblical beliefs?
Have I ever had an abortion? No. However, I think that women should have that option open to them in the event something tragic happens.
