Photo Credit: bossip She's baack! On Thursday, the U.S. Supreme Court slammed Abigail Fisher's claims that she was denied entry to the University of Texas because she is white. In 2008, Abigail Fisher sued the university because she was " denied admission to the institution based on affirmative action policies that violated the Constitution's equal protection act. " When Fisher applied to the school, she applied during a very competitive year. Even though she had a strong GPA and a modest SAT score, she didn't place in the top 10% of her high school graduating class. A good amount of other applicants had much better grades than Fisher. While many young men and women would have gotten over the rejection and moved on to their next choice, Abigail Fisher decided to sue.
