Recently, it was announced that a reboot of the 1986 cult classic was in the works. Of course, this news comes (naturally) after David Bowie passed away. Not much is known about what the reboot will be about, but the script will be written by Nicole Perlman, who co-wrote 'Guardians of the Galaxy.' My Two Cents I find it terribly suspicious that they announce this right after David Bowie's passing. Are people trying to profit off of one of the most tragic losses of our generation? If so, Hollywood has just proven that it has no soul. Should there be a reboot of the movie? God I hope not. I mean, they can find anyone to play Sarah and the baby, but they will never find a more finer goblin king than Bowie himself. Sorry Hollywood. You are scum.

Today, the world woke up to the sad news of David Bowie's passing . The icon died Sunday after a long battle with cancer. He was 69 years old. The news broke on Bowie's Facebook page early Monday morning: "David Bowie died peacefully today surrounded by his family after a courageous 18 month battle with cancer. While many of you will share in this loss, we ask that you respect the family’s privacy during their time of grief." The news was also confirmed by his son, Duncan Jones. Bowie's death comes just days after he celebrated his 69th birthday. His birthday was also the day he released his latest studio album, "Blackstar." David Bowie's career spanned across several decades. Hits such as "Space Oddity," "Fame," and "Under Pressure," made him a superstar and a living legend.
