Mere hours after news broke about Stephen Collins' confession about molesting 3 young girls, Entertainment Weekly has reported that the actor has been fired from the movie, which is set to be released in the summer of 2015. It is reported that Collins had a small role in 'Ted 2,' but it is unknown if any of his scenes had been filmed. Reps for the movie confirmed that Collins was fired. The film suits decided to fire Collins after police opened the investigation into the violent crimes. The 67-year old actor was recorded admitting to the molestations while at a therapy session with his estranged wife and their counselor. In the state of California, it is legal to record conversations if it will reveal that a violent crime was committed, which is the case here.
