Police: "Do not call us if Facebook is down for the count!"

Those of you who tried to check Facebook on your lunch hour were probably greeted with this message: Apparently, some Facebook users were so broken up by the message, that they called 911 to report this "crime against humanity." Officers in Los Angeles County, California took to Twitter and made this statement: Facebook reps posted a statement saying that they were working on the issue and would update users "shortly." The site was up and running one hour later. Now , I love Facebook as much as the next person, but calling the cops to report an outage is just plain stupid. It is not that serious. Find something to do for Christ's sake! Go on Twitter, read a book, talk to someone face-to-face, call a family member, use your imagination!
