Who is Barack Obama planning to endorse for President?

Around this time of year, we learn 3 of things:
  1. Who the Republican nominee is.
  2. Who the Democratic nominee is.
  3. Who the current President is supporting.
While it is too early for any concrete news, sources in Washington, DC believe that Obama is going to throw all of his support Hillary Clinton's way. The announcement is expected to come this month, maybe as soon as next week.
Clinton is less than 30 superdelegates away from clinching the Democratic nomination, a number she could easily surpass in tomorrow's primaries. In terms of Bernie Sanders, this is just another stack of odds that continue to pile up against him.

President Obama also plans to speak out about Donald Trump's latest racist remarks (re: the California rally where he pointed out to an African-American, said "look at my African-American," and continued to say African-American in the most inappropriate ways possible). Advisors to the President state that the President was "personally offended" by the remark.

Once President Obama makes the official announcement, it is going to shake things up quite a bit. Stay tuned!
