Fans who were awaiting the season premiere of "The Last Ship" last night were met with disappointment.
TNT decided to postpone the season 3 premiere due to the tragedy that took place in Orlando, Florida in the early hours of Sunday morning.
At least 50 people died, and another 53 were injured when a gunman opened fire at a popular club in Florida.

Season 3 of "The Last Ship" was to open with gunshots being fired at a nightclub full of patrons.
TNT has not announced a new premiere date for the season premiere of "The Last Ship."

My Two Cents

I am really glad that TNT had enough respect to postpone the premiere. Even though I am a fan of the show, I think it would be inappropriate to show an episode involving that subject matter.
Thank you, TNT!

On a personal note, last night my best friend from college told me that a girl that we went to college with was among the victims of the Pulse tragedy: KJ Morris. I didn't know her personally, but I remember seeing her around campus. Fellow alumni are now in mourning, and we send out thoughts and prayers to her family and friends.

Teikyo Post University alumni=family. RIP KJ Morris.
