Cancer survivor mistaken for a trans woman after undergoing mastectomy.

The passage of HB2 hurts more than the trans community: it is also affecting survivors of breast cancer.

A cisgender young woman who had a mastectomy after being diagnosed with stage 3 invasive ductal carcinoma (similar to breast cancer), took to Facebook to discuss the numerous times she has been mistaken for a trans woman. 
Christi Saucedo posted a photo of her naked chest on Facebook (showing the scars from the mastectomy), and attached a very powerful message to the photo:
It’s time I said this. Take a good hard look at my chest. Don’t feel weird doing it. There is nothing sacred or sexual left to see.
What is there for you to see is a hollowed arm pit. Breast cancer spreads first to your underarm lymph nodes. Seeing as mine was under my left arm, they removed all of my lymph nodes & a lot of tissue. You may also note an incision that is disfigured as this kept opening up post surgery.
While I can see that the pink ribbon brings comfort to some… I want you to know that breast cancer is ugly. It’s not an easy or a glam cancer to have. In fact cancers are one & the same to me. Cells run wild. Immune system compromised.
It robbed me of a precious part of myself that I once nourished my children with. It took away part of my sexual identity. Now that’s if we’re just talking about my breasts or my former breasts I’ll say.
When I chose to not have reconstruction it was for many reasons but most importantly it was because my children had seen me down enough. I wanted them to see me strong again. I wanted them to have their Mother they knew.
Until recently I have been very comfortable with my decision. However… The great bathroom debate of 2016 has hurt more than just the transgender community.
It has hurt us survivors. Recently I notice more eyes trying to figure me out. At the grocery store, restaurants … Walmart was the worst. I want to scream, YES! You are seeing it right! This is Breast Cancer… Please check yourself!’ But instead I let my eyes meet theirs in an almost plea for a change in what has become our society.
I am personally of the belief that no transgender person wants to cause trouble in a bathroom. People just want to use the restroom. There have been terrible acts happening in public restrooms long before this. This is why my children never use a public restroom without me. You don’t have to agree with me & I don’t have to agree with you. It’s ok.
Persons undergoing cancer treatment or post cancer treatment may lack hair & wear a baseball hat. They may have undergone a mastectomy like myself. Please consider these things. Rant over.
My Two Cents

This is just heartbreaking. While conservaturds are busy trying to destroy the trans community, other people are getting caught in the crossfire. They have no idea that they are ruining the lives of, not only the trans community, but of cancer survivors, androgynous individuals, and more.

Christie Saucedo is going through something that no one should ever go through. She is a young woman who was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer (very traumatic), had her breasts removed (which is traumatic on a deeper level), and now she is getting stared at because she "looks trans."
Are you kidding me?!?

Is this what society has become: a bunch of animals? Conservaturds, get a f*cking life. Seriously. You people are monsters.

Why TNT did not air the season premiere of "The Last Ship."

Photo credit: screenrant Fans who were awaiting the season premiere of "The Last Ship" last night were met with disappointment. TNT decided to postpone the season 3 premiere due to the tragedy that took place in Orlando, Florida in the early hours of Sunday morning. At least 50 people died, and another 53 were injured when a gunman opened fire at a popular club in Florida. Season 3 of "The Last Ship" was to open with gunshots being fired at a nightclub full of patrons. TNT has not announced a new premiere date for the season premiere of "The Last Ship." My Two Cents I am really glad that TNT had enough respect to postpone the premiere. Even though I am a fan of the show, I think it would be inappropriate to show an episode involving that subject matter. Thank you, TNT! Actor Wil Wheaton criticizes Paul Ryan's response to Texas Church shooting.

Ryan tweeted for a "call to prayer." Wheaton subsequently posted the following in response: "The murdered victims were in a church. If prayers did anything, they'd still be alive, you worthless sack of s**t." After receiving a TON of backlash, Wheaton tried to explain his tweet in a series of later tweets: "Hey, real and actual people of faith: I hear you. I apologise for insulting you, in my rage at Paul Ryan's refusal to address gun violence." He also stated that Paul Ryan is someone who exploits his faith by hiding behind his words without conducting actual good deeds. Wheaton also expressed his upset that Ryan refused to address gun violence. My Two Cents The thing I love about Wil Wheaton is that he is not afraid of expressing his opinion.
