"Heroes Reborn" will not be back for a second season.

NBC Chairman Bob Greenblatt confirmed on Wednesday that Heroes Reborn, a revival of the original hit TV show Heroes, will not be back for an additional season.

The TV show was a hit when it first premiered, but the fire quickly dwindled and eventually burnt out.
Not only will this installment end, the actual franchise may be coming to an end. Hints have been dropped by Greenblatt and the show's creator for some time.
The series finale will air on January 21. What has been said about the finale is that if another installment were to be made, it will be easy to pick up where they left off.

In laymen's terms: Fans will just have to wait and see.
