Jenny McCarthy's son once called 911 on her for texting while driving

Despite the fact that Jenny McCarthy has rather questionable parenting skills (i.e. her anti-vaccine opinions), she seems to be doing something right: Her 12 year old son, Evan likes to follow the rules.

This is both a good and bad thing, depending on who you ask. During a recent interview, McCarthy brought up the fact that her son once called the cops on her for texting while driving. McCarthy said that she always texts and drives, and doesn't have a problem doing so. She did, however, have a problem with her son calling 911 to report her, so she ended up throwing her son's phone out of the car window. She threw the phone out of the window to avoid a run-in with the cops.

As someone who is among the millions of people who commute on a daily basis, I thank her son for reporting her. Something needs to be done about these idiots who text and drive. I see these morons on a constant basis and they are the ones who cause the most accidents. What will it take for McCarthy to learn that it is dangerous to text and drive? Does she think that she is above it all because she has millions of dollars and lives in a mansion? Sorry, honey. No one is above it all. You still have to obey all traffic laws. Last I checked, it is illegal to text and drive in this country.

Let this be a lesson to everyone: It doesn't matter who you are. No one is above the law. You cannot text and drive. You may think that you are in control of your car while you are sending that text, or answering that car, but it takes one second of distraction for your life to change forever. Don't be a shithead. Hang up the phone. Better yet, turn off the phone, or just pull over to text or make a call.

By the way, in all the years that I've been driving and have had a cell phone, I have never once answered a phone call or texted while driving. Bible truth. I know how fast things can change in an instant. Plus, I don't trust the other drivers. I want to have total concentration while driving.

Time to wrap this up. Here's what we've learned from Ms. McCarthy:
-Ms McCarthy thinks she's above the law.
-Her son has more common sense than she does.

Now that her stint on "The View" is over, maybe she can go over the rules of the road and get better acquainted on how to be a safe driver. That way she doesn't kill someone. Just sayin.'
