The beautiful and vibrant star of VH1 reality show 'Mob Wives' passed away early Thursday morning after a year long battle with brain, lung, and throat cancer. She was 55.

A friend of Big Ang's posted on her Twitter page the following:
"It is with sad regret that we inform you that at 3:01 a.m. Angelia Raiola peacefully ended her battle with cancer, and was called home. She was surrounded by nothing but love from her immediate family, and the closest friends. YOU, (her fans) were some of the most special people in the world, and she loved you immensely. Thank you for your love, prayers, and unconditional support of Angela right to the very end."

Raiola is survived by husband Neil Murphy, two kids, and 6 grandkids.
Raiola's co-stars have been expressing their condolences since the news broke. Some of Raiola's famous friends have reached out, sharing memories of times had together. Fans have taken over social media, sending their condolences to Big Ang's family and friends.

My Two Cents:

I became a fan of Big Ang's a couple of months ago after a fall had me laid up in bed for a few weeks. I binge-watched every Mob Wives episode Hulu had, and I fell in love with Big Ang's positive attitude and charisma. She really was the heart of that show. Even on "Couple's Therapy," she left a positive mark on all of the other couples.

People can say all the want about Big Ang's history, the way she looks, and her show. Until you've watched the show, and until you've really looked into what kind of person Big Ang was, your words are meaningless.
Big Ang had a limitless heart. She took care of everyone first. She was a true woman, and she will be forever missed.

RIP Big Ang!
PS- F*CK CANCER!
