Kelly Clarkson delivers an emotional performance on "American Idol."

As we all know, American Idol is ending after its current season, and what better way to celebrate all that American Idol has done than to bring back the first American Idol: Kelly Clarkson.

Kelly Clarkson has had one hell of a career. She came from unfortunate circumstances, but became one of the most beloved singers of all time.

Not only has her professional life been absolutely amazing, her personal life has become a dream come true. She is a married woman and has one daughter, and a son on the way.

This week on American Idol, a pregnant Clarkson took the stage and performed her most personal song yet: "Piece by Piece." The song discusses being abandoned by her father at a young age, and how happy she is to have a husband who loves her and their children. Clarkson looked radiant as she belted out the memories of her past. As you looked around the room, there was not a dry eye in the house. Keith Urban, Jennifer Lopez, Harry Connick Jr., and Ryan Seacrest were glistening in tears. During the performance, Clarkson herself became emotional.

As she finished her performance, she received a standing ovation from both the audience and the top 10 contestants. Seacrest spoke to Clarkson after the performance and said that the pregnancy, being on the stage that started her career, and reliving the memories of abandonment, culminated in her becoming emotional.

Despite Clarkson becoming emotional, it is one of those performances that will be remembered for years to come.
