According to several reports, Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders is expected to endorse presumptive Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton on Tuesday.
According to Democrats involved in the planning, both the Sanders camp and the Clinton camp have been meeting to discuss how to successfully defeat presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump. On Thursday, Bernie Sanders sat down with Bloomberg and came pretty damn close to endorsing Hillary Clinton:
"We have got to do everything that we can to defeat Donald Trump and elect Hillary Clinton. I don’t honestly know how we would survive four years of a Donald Trump as president."
This news comes on the heels of Sanders' unfortunate experience earlier this week, when Bernie Sanders was booed by House Democrats for still being in the race and not backing Hillary Clinton.

For weeks, Bernie Sanders has been sounding less confident in clinching the nomination for the democratic party. A few weeks ago, he said that he doesn't feel like he will get the nomination. He has also stated that he won't officially endorse Clinton until they come to an agreement on many important issues.

My Two Cents

As a Bernie supporter, I'm a little disappointed that he is going to endorse Hillary Clinton and not back Jill Stein of the Green party. Sure, Hillary is a frontrunner, but she isn't trustworthy.
Bernie Sanders also said that he was going to be at the DNC, still in the race. If he endorses Hillary Clinton on Tuesday, he is breaking his promise to his voters. Were we deceived by Bernie Sanders, or is this a desperate strategic move to ensure that Trump does not win the election?

While I detest Trump with the passion, I cannot back Bernie Sanders if he endorses Hillary Clinton. I need a lot more from Hillary Clinton if she is to clinch my vote, and I know I'm not alone.

This election is getting scarier and scarier.
