Rose McGowan flames Meryl Streep for Black Dress protest at Golden Globes

Rose McGowan, actress/professional whiner, has now gone on the defense against Meryl Streep of all people. Meryl Streep and a couple of actresses have decided to wear black to next month's Golden Globes awards as a silent protest of the sexual misconduct issue in Hollywood. Rose McGowan, who was allegedly raped by the disgraced Harvey Weinstein, called out living legend Meryl Streep over the weekend on Twitter:
"Actresses, like Meryl Streep, who happily worked for The Pig Monster, are wearing black @GoldenGlobes in a silent protest. YOUR SILENCE is THE problem. You’ll accept a fake award breathlessly and affect no real change. I despise your hypocrisy. Maybe you should all wear Marchesa."
Streep spoke to HuffPost in October about the allegations against former co-worker Harvey Weinstein (Streep worked with Weinstein on a couple of films). She insisted that she did not know about Weinstein's behavior at the time, but now condemns it, calling the behavior "disgraceful."

My Two Cents

I cannot be the only person in the world who is sick and tired of Rose McGowan. As someone who has been sexually assaulted, I'm appalled and embarrassed by McGowan's behavior. She is carrying on like a little baby. She is ruining the cause for all of us.
I actually like the idea of wearing black at the Golden Globes. Sometimes silence speaks volumes. Rose McGowan could learn a thing or two about silent protests. Then again, silent protests take a level of class that she isn't capable of producing.
