Shailene Woodley Loves Being "Homeless."

Actress Shailene Woodley stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live to discuss her latest movie, and they had gotten onto the subject of her living conditions. Turns out, Shailene Woodley doesn't have an actual residence.
She said that she used to have a house in Los Angeles, but she gave it to her grandmother (Awww), since she only spent time at the house for 15 days that year. Now, she just couch surfs at her families and friends' houses.

She also lives out of a carry-on bag, has few articles of clothing, has one cell phone, and a laptop, and no iPad. She says that she finds it refreshing to not have to deal with lots of articles of clothing and not have to worry about washing a lot of clothes all the time.

She likes the lifestyle and doesn't see anything wrong with it.

Well..

It's easy for her to feel relaxed in her "homeless" lifestyle when she has a cushy multi-million dollar bank account to fall back on when she tires of living the simple life. ACTUAL homeless folks don't have that luxury. Hell, actual homeless folks don't have couches to "crash" on, or cell phones, or laptops, or a change of clothes.

She needs to stop throwing the "homeless" label around. Shailene, you're not homeless. You're privileged. I will give you props for not being a careless spender like most of your peers, but, please don't call yourself homeless. Find another label.
