With the passing of legend Gene Wilder, 2016 is officially FIRED!

On Sunday, the world lost one of the greatest actors to ever grace the planet: Gene Wilder. Wilder died in Stamford, Connecticut from complications from Alzheimer's disease. He was 83.
Celebrities who have been impacted by his work tweeted their condolences and shared memories of the beloved actor.

Mel Brooks made the following statement about his dear friend:
"Gene Wilder, one of the truly great talents of our time, is gone. He blessed every film we did together with his special magic and he blessed my life with his friendship. He will be so missed."
Cloris Leachman, who co-starred with Wilder in the iconic "Young Frankenstein" tweeted:
"Oh, Gene, it's too soon!"
Fellow funnyman Jim Carrey tweeted:
"Gene Wilder was one of the funniest and sweetest energies ever to take a human form. If there's a heaven he as a Golden Ticket."
2016 has become the year we lost all the greats. Our wounded world cannot take another loss of a legend.
Gene Wilder, thank you for the laughs. You will be missed!
