Sharknado: the force is strong with "The 4th Awakens." (Spoilers)

Last night, millions tuned in or DVR'd the much anticipated 4th installment of the Sharknado series. In true Sharknado fashion, we were greeted with action-packed, shark a**-kicking within the first 10 minutes of the movie. This time, the fight began in Las Vegas. Sadly, whatever happened in Vegas didn't stay in Vegas, as the Sharknado storm manifested into Firenado, and eventually NukeNado.

As for Fin and the gang, well, there was a brief addition to the family. We get introduced to the older son's new wife for a brief time. Gil, the youngest boy, is now 5 and doesn't know his mother (as you remember, April was about to be flattened by shuttle debris at the end of Sharknado 3). As we all know, nothing is ever as it seems in Sharknado-ville. For the last 5 years, April has been staying with her father in some scientific lab. Her father pretty much Frankensteined her up, and made her the female version of Iron Man. Sadly, her life is only temporary, unless scientists can figure out how to prolong it.
After learning that Fin and her family were alive, April left the lab in search of her family. After finding them in Kansas after a frightening Sharknado, everyone bands together to save the country from being decimated by the NukeNado. Their adventures take them to Niagara Falls. Utilizing help from April's father's business, Fin and the gang work to blast Niagara Falls so that it flows up the NukeNado, changing it into a regular Sharknado. Once that happens, April's dad's business can create a shockwave to disable the Sharknado.

During the final moments of the movie, we watched most of Fin's gang, Fin included, get eaten by sharks. The funny part about that scene is that after that shark swallowed Fin, a bigger shark came around and swallowed that shark. This happened over and over again, until a shark the size of a humpback whale came crashing down from the sky. Little Gil saved the day by rescuing his family from the bellies of the sharks (Gil hitched a ride in a barrel down Niagara Falls).
The final seconds showed a reunited family. Unfortunately, the moment was interrupted by the Eiffel Tower, which fell right into Niagara Falls. The final line from the movie: "This isn't over." End Scene.

Just like with the first 3 Sharknado movies, we were greeted by a slew of celebrity appearances. I wasn't particularly pleased to see Stacey Dash, but I felt vindicated when she got what she deserved. We also saw Brandi Glanville in the first 10-15 minutes of the movie. I have to admit, she was pretty good. She needs to do more acting.

My favorite part of the movie consisted of a little homage to 1996 classic "Twister." There was a scene where the Sharknado had reached a farm in Kansas and a bunch of cows started flying in the air. The man (forgot his name) said "Cow" when one crossed his path. That cow flew past him and then crossed his path again. The man said "Another cow," and then said "That might be the same one." Me being the disaster movie geek that I am, I did a dance of glee at that scene.

One scene worth mentioning happened in the first 15 minutes of the movie:

Who knew Las Vegas stripper junk would be that powerful?

All in all, I loved the movie. The catchphrases were a little much, and I wasn't too fond of the technical difficulties throughout the movie (I wasn't the only one who experienced these technical issues. Many viewers complained of the same thing on Twitter). I'm pretty sure the technical issues were due to so many people watching the movie. I hope that it can be fixed so there are no interruptions during Sharknado 5.

Will there be a Sharknado 5? Please say YES!
