Before I begin with the memes, let's recap what happened:

A few days ago, the world was shocked when United Airlines employees assaulted a man aboard an plane.

What happened was that the craft had too many people on board. The  employees on board offered those on board $800 to leave the plane so more United employees could fly. Employees volunteered three individuals at random to leave, one of which was Dr. David Dao. Dao, 69, told the employees that he had patients he needed to see at his destination, so he refused to give up his seat. Officials with the Chicago Department of Aviation then violently dragged Dr. Dao. through the aisle of the aircraft. Dao was shown bloodied and broken in photos taken from the plane.

United Airlines CEO blamed "system failure" for the incident. Dr. Dao, however, stated that everything feels injured. He is recovering at a Chicago hospital for the time being.
United Airline's abuse toward Dr. Dao has not gone un-punished. Internet memes at the expense of United Airline's hatred toward people have trended worldwide.

Memes have quadrupled since Sunday, and with the help of my boyfriend, I have found some of the most trended memes on the internet:

Speaking of UA's stock, they've already lost over $1 billion.

My Two Cents

In all seriousness, United Airlines should be ashamed of themselves. I know that the CEO has tried to apologize, but his apologize fall flat, just like his stocks now. He is in charge of everything that happens, and Dr. Dao's blood is on his hands. The CEO allowed his employees to drag this innocent man through the aisle and get physically and emotionally scarred for life.

I want to wish a speedy recovery to Dr Dao. My prayers are with you, sir! Get well, and sue United Airlines. Don't let them get away with what they did. As for the memes, don't take offense to them. All of the memes are at the expense of United Airlines. We are holding them accountable for what they did to you.
