Well, he has resurfaced and discussed what he is up to in the current issue of People.

If you remember the controversy from 2012, you will remember that Jones, 23, made several YouTube videos talking about how his newfound faith conflicted with the storylines he was getting on 'Two and a Half Men.' Jones was making $300,000 an episode, and had been on the show for nearly a decade. Once he reached adult age, he joined the Seventh-Day Adventist faith. In fact, in 2012, he sat down with a filmmaker who followed the same faith and gave an interview:
"I’m on Two and a Half Men, and I don’t want to be. You cannot be a true God-fearing person and be on a television show like that."
Jones later apologized for his comments and continued to appear on the show as a guest star through the end of the series.

In his real life, Jones decided to enroll at the University of Colorado at Boulder. He is currently on a break, but is planning on going back to school. Jones loved being at college because he was able to have a "normal existence."
Along with education pursuits, he currently serves as the President of entertainment at an events company called Tonite. The company was actually co-founded by Sean "Diddy" Combs' son Justin.

Jones had this to say about his current life:
"I got pretty doomsday with my thinking for a long time, but now I’m having fun and enjoying where I’m at. I no longer feel like every step I take is on a land mine."
My Two Cents

When Angus T. Jones bashed his show 4+ years ago, I was pissed. It reminded me of when Kirk Cameron found God and bashed his show and co-stars for being immoral. If it weren't for 'Two and a Half Men,' no one would know who Angus T. Jones is. The show made him a lot of money. Why talk sh*t about your employer? There are so many people out there that would give their right arm to make all that money. One thing I know about faith is that you need to be humble. You need to be grateful that your higher being blessed you with opportunities.
It sounds like Jones is slowly learning that lesson. The storylines may have conflicted with what he believes in, but he wasn't performing those acts...his character was. It's called acting. Candace Cameron Bure is a devout Christian and she is married. Yet, she still engages in kissing scenes in Hallmark movies and on 'Fuller House.' Why? Because she is acting. She isn't really kissing those men...her characters are.

Anyways, I hope Angus T. Jones is able to humble himself to appreciate what his higher power has blessed him with. I wish him the best of luck in his endeavors.
