Unless you've been hiding under a rock, you have probably heard about the BIP scandal involving Corinne Olympios and DeMario Jackson. If you haven't heard about it, let me catch you up. 'Bachelor in Paradise' was shooting their current season when rumors of sexual misconduct erupted. The rumors involved Olympios and Jackson.

No one knows exactly what happened, but the rumors state that Olympios had gotten drunk and made sexual advances toward Jackson. The misconduct halted production of the show temporarily. Production has since resumed, but, because of the sexual misconduct rumors, they are instituting new rules:

-The first rule is that contestants are allowed only 2 drinks an hour.
-The second rule states that if contestants want to engage in sex, they have to clear it with production first. If contestants do not give production consent, producers have the authority to stop the contestants, even if they are mid-coitis.

Will we see Olympios and Jackson back in 'Paradise?' Highly unlikely, according to sources. Olympios has hired a lawyer to conduct an independent investigation. Jackson released a statement stating that he "feels played," "that the color of his skin played a part in him being asked to leave the show," and that "every contestant is a pawn in the game."

My Two Cents

I'm not sure if everything is true, or if it is a big publicity scheme to hype up the premiere. If it isn't true, using a "sexual misconduct scandal" in order to increase ratings is disgusting.

If it is true, as much as I don't like DeMario Jackson (I hate him for what he did to Rachel on this season of "Bachelorette."), I have to side with him. Corinne showed her true colors on her season of "The Bachelor." She dressed up like a harlot and seduced the Bachelor on that season, not to mention, she was always drunk. Her seducing someone in "Paradise" is very believable. If you don't want to be perceived as a wh*re, don't act like one. Simple as that. It's really sad because she is a pretty girl. If she grew up a little, and gained some self-respect, she could be an unstoppable force in this world.

Will I be watching BIP this summer? I'm still undecided. I feel as if there is so much happening behind-the-scenes that we all don't know about.
