Raven-Symone throws shade at people with "ghetto names."

The verbal vomit continues to spew from Raven-Symone's mouth. On Thursday's episode of The View, a video was shown that listed 60 of the most "ghetto names."

Raven-Symone said this about people with "ghetto names:
“...I am very discriminatory against words like the ones that they were saying in those names. I’m not about to hire you if your name is Watermelondrea. It’s just not going to happen. I’m not going to hire you."
For some strange reason (sarcasm, by the way), Raven's comments have caused quite a controversy. Raven is no stranger to controversy. She had publicly denounced her heritage and her sexual orientation, which angered many people.

My Two Cents:

Oh Raven. You never cease to amaze me. I remember when you were this cute little kid on The Cosby Show. Now, I just wish you could revert back to your 7 year old self, before you became a hateful and jaded young woman.

Discriminating against someone for their name is just tacky. In the African-American community there are many unique and strong African names, none of which deserve your negative judgement. Anyone who is willing to work and be a productive member of society should be exposed to the same opportunities as anyone else, regardless of their name, age, race, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, religion, and more.
