Washington State megachurch pastor refers to women as "penis homes."

In one of the most twisted forms of misogyny that I've ever heard of, a Washington state megachurch founder closed several branches of his megachurch after it was revealed that he once referred to women as "penis homes."

Pastor (and disgusting misogynist) Mark Driscoll was asked to resign by members of the Church when it was discovered that he said the following comments about women in 2001. He made the comments under the pseudo name, William Wallace II:
"Ultimately, God created you and it is his penis. You are simply borrowing it for a while. Knowing that His penis would need a home, God created a woman to be your wife and when you marry her and look down you will notice that your wife is shaped differently than you and makes a very nice home. Therefore, if you are single you must remember that your penis is homeless and needs a home. But, though you may believe your hand is shaped like a home, it is not… And, if you look at a man it is quite obvious that what a homeless man does not need is another man without a home.”
Let that just sink in for a moment.

So, according to this asshole, when we are having sex with a guy, it is really God we are fucking (I wonder how my boyfriend will take the news, LOL). Driscoll also believes that our vaginas are meant to house penises.
Hmm, doesn't the Church also say that our vaginas are meant to squeeze out babies too? What about tampons, vibrators, and fingers? What about women who enjoy fisting during sex? Vaginas are a lot more than "penis homes," and I'm insulted that he would even call us females that.

What about his hilarious comment about masturbation and hand jobs? How does HE know that the hand is shaped like a house? Has he tested his masturbation and hand job theory on himself?
If dudes masturbate or enjoy hand jobs, who is Driscoll to judge? Maybe if Driscoll shook hands with his Bishop, he wouldn't be so uptight! Of course, he would probably need a magnifying glass in order to search for it. He'd probably have a better chance of finding Waldo.

Of course Driscoll had to end his temper tantrum with a homophobic remark.

I have heard a lot of misogynistic terminology in my time, but "penis homes" is a new one. I'm not sure if Driscoll is secretly gay, wishing he was a woman, or what. Maybe he really is just a vile prick. What ever the case may be, it's abundantly clear that he hates himself and he has no respect for women.

Unfortunately, I can't say that I'm surprised by all of this. The Christian community is chock full of misogynists, racists, and homophobes. For a religion that claims to be all about "loving thy neighbor," there is nothing loving about how that douchebag preaches.

We are not "penis homes." We are not a garage for God's johnson. We are women. Our vaginas are ours. As far as Driscoll is concerned, I'm praying to the flying spaghetti monster that his mothership picks him off soon, and brings him back to what ever dumpster galaxy he came from.

Why TNT did not air the season premiere of "The Last Ship."

TNT decided to postpone the season 3 premiere due to the tragedy that took place in Orlando, Florida in the early hours of Sunday morning. At least 50 people died, and another 53 were injured when a gunman opened fire at a popular club in Florida. Season 3 of "The Last Ship" was to open with gunshots being fired at a nightclub full of patrons. TNT has not announced a new premiere date for the season premiere of "The Last Ship." My Two Cents I am really glad that TNT had enough respect to postpone the premiere. Actor Wil Wheaton criticizes Paul Ryan's response to Texas Church shooting.

Ryan tweeted for a "call to prayer." Wheaton subsequently posted the following in response: "The murdered victims were in a church. If prayers did anything, they'd still be alive, you worthless sack of s**t." After receiving a TON of backlash, Wheaton tried to explain his tweet in a series of later tweets: "Hey, real and actual people of faith: I hear you. I apologise for insulting you, in my rage at Paul Ryan's refusal to address gun violence." He also stated that Paul Ryan is someone who exploits his faith by hiding behind his words without conducting actual good deeds.
