Tyler Perry is well-known for playing inspiring and strong-willed matriarch, Madea, but it looks like he is going to become known for another reason: He's (reportedly) about to become a proud papa!

Yup, Tyler Perry is reportedly expecting his first child with on-again/off-again girlfriend, 28 year old, Gelila Bekele. A few years ago, Perry expressed his desire about becoming a father:
"I'm 43, so two more years. By 45 you know who the hell you are, right? You've really settled in at 45, so I think two more years."
The news began to spread when Bekele's close friend shared a photo of the mother-to-be with a growing baby bump. Her friend states that Bekele is 7 months pregnant with a baby boy.

This will be the first child for 45 year old Perry.

Me, being the nosy person I am, decided to do some research to see what Christians are saying about Perry becoming a father. As some of you know, Perry is known for making faith-centered movies and plays. So of course there will be fingers wagging toward Mr. Perry's direction for having a baby out-of-wedlock.

I went on Mr. Perry's Facebook fan page and many people were talking about it. People were definitely making a big stink about this "sinful indiscretion."
Also, Perry's friend, gospel singer Yolanda Adams, took to her Facebook and publicly congratulated the soon-to-be papa.
Here's where things begin to get interesting. Not only were people making a big stink about Tyler Perry having a "bastard child," they were also screaming at Ms. Adams for sending her congratulations. People were ridiculing her for "congratulating sin."
Sure, there were folks who congratulated Mr. Perry and were genuinely happy for him, but the judgmental religious twats really got under my skin.
I was born out-of-wedlock, and I was gossiped about by the Church my grandparents were members of. Being a "bastard" wasn't my fault, but the Church and the Christian religion made me feel like it was. This is why I hate Church and Christians. Yes, there ARE some Christians who are open-minded, and I appreciate them. However, I cannot condone folks or a religion that is judgmental because they are brainwashed by a book about some imaginary savior.

Anyways, I digress. Is having a baby out-of-wedlock wrong? No. Is it anyone's business if a couple has a baby out-of-wedlock? Absolutely not. Can't we just be happy about a beautiful baby coming into this world? Why judge? Why get personal and throw down? Why call Tyler Perry a hypocrite? Yes, he makes Christian-based movies, but isn't faith all about loving your neighbor as yourself? By spreading hate toward Mr. Perry, are you showing the world that you hate yourself? To be honest, I think you SHOULD hate yourselves. You people are fucked up and poor excuses for humans. If there IS a God, I pray he or she has mercy on your pathetic and useless soul.

Tyler Perry, if the news is true, I send my congratulations to you and your beautiful girlfriend. Babies are freaking amazing and I know you will be the most amazing dad in the world.
Don't listen to the idiots condemning you for not being married to your girlfriend. They are useless, bottom-feeding maggots.

By the way, I am a huge fan of Tyler Perry's. I love me some Madea! I think I might watch some Madea movies later!
