Help Wanted: NASA hiring astronauts for mission to Mars.

It was announced last week that NASA is looking for a few good men (and women) to head on up to Mars for a special mission.
NASA will be accepting applications starting on December 14.

Vacant jobs include:
-Pilot
-Engineer
-Scientist
-Medical doctors
...and more.

There are some requirements for the vacant positions:
-Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in engineering, biological science, physical science, or math.
-Applicants must have at least 3 years of related experience, or more than 1,000 hours of pilot-in-command experience in a jet aircraft.
-Candidates also have to pass the rigorous NASA space flight physical.

Interested parties should go to NASA's website for more information. 

My Two Cents:

When I was younger, I wanted to become an astronaut. Only because my idol at the time was Punky Brewster, and I wanted to be like her. Just like Punky, I stopped dreaming about becoming an astronaut after the Challenger tragedy.

In relation to this story, I think this is an excellent opportunity for those who are looking to change up their career.

Why TNT did not air the season premiere of "The Last Ship."

TNT decided to postpone the season 3 premiere due to the tragedy that took place in Orlando, Florida in the early hours of Sunday morning. At least 50 people died, and another 53 were injured when a gunman opened fire at a popular club in Florida. Season 3 of "The Last Ship" was to open with gunshots being fired at a nightclub full of patrons. TNT has not announced a new premiere date for the season premiere of "The Last Ship." My Two Cents I am really glad that TNT had enough respect to postpone the premiere. Actor Wil Wheaton criticizes Paul Ryan's response to Texas Church shooting.

Ryan tweeted for a "call to prayer." Wheaton subsequently posted the following in response: "The murdered victims were in a church. If prayers did anything, they'd still be alive, you worthless sack of s**t." After receiving a TON of backlash, Wheaton tried to explain his tweet in a series of later tweets: "Hey, real and actual people of faith: I hear you. I apologise for insulting you, in my rage at Paul Ryan's refusal to address gun violence." He also stated that Paul Ryan is someone who exploits his faith by hiding behind his words without conducting actual good deeds.
