'Girl Meets World' to host 'Boy Meets World' reunion for season 3 finale.

Social media has been buzzing about the possible cancellation of 'Boy Meets World' Disney spinoff 'Girl Meets World.' While nothing has been made official, Girl Meets World is determined to go out with a bang! Of course, this means the most epic 'Boy Meets World' reunion ever! This reunion will also include the two Morgans: Lindsay Ridgeway and Lily Nicksay!
Throughout Girl Meets World, we have been blessed with Eric, Shawn, Mr. Feeny, Harley, Angela, Alan, Amy, Minkus, and Mr Turner. The season 3 finale will be the first time we have seen most of the cast from BOTH shows in one episode.

As for the fate of GMW, the cast knows as much as the fans do. Rowan Blanchard, who plays Cory and Topanga's teen daughter Riley on the show, said that she has no idea whether the reunion episode will be a season finale or series finale.
Those who attended the taping for the show said that after the taping, they were told to chant "One More Season." The Girl Meets World fanpage on Facebook has been directing people to contact the appropriate people and request more seasons of Girl Meets World.

Unfortunately, as with many popular Disney shows, they don't last any more than 3 or 4 seasons. Fans have been requesting that the show be picked up by Freeform or Netflix.

The season 3 finale will air on August 12 on the Disney Channel.

My Two Cents

To be honest, I don't think the show should have been on Disney. Disney is where good shows go to die. I like Girl Meets World, and I would love to see it picked up by another network. If the show wants to survive, it needs to become more like Boy Meets World, not the sugar-coated version of it. The show deserves a chance on another network. I'd love to see Freeform pick it up!

Why TNT did not air the season premiere of "The Last Ship."

TNT decided to postpone the season 3 premiere due to the tragedy that took place in Orlando, Florida in the early hours of Sunday morning. At least 50 people died, and another 53 were injured when a gunman opened fire at a popular club in Florida. Season 3 of "The Last Ship" was to open with gunshots being fired at a nightclub full of patrons. TNT has not announced a new premiere date for the season premiere of "The Last Ship." Actor Wil Wheaton criticizes Paul Ryan's response to Texas Church shooting.

Ryan tweeted for a "call to prayer." Wheaton subsequently posted the following in response: "The murdered victims were in a church. If prayers did anything, they'd still be alive, you worthless sack of s**t." After receiving a TON of backlash, Wheaton tried to explain his tweet in a series of later tweets: "Hey, real and actual people of faith: I hear you. I apologise for insulting you, in my rage at Paul Ryan's refusal to address gun violence." He also stated that Paul Ryan is someone who exploits his faith by hiding behind his words without conducting actual good deeds.
